Thats a Hell of a nice Cheap haul all with 5th year options to accelerate the rebuild and you just built your core for the rebuild in one draft. That Gives you Coop, Flemmings, Graves/ Johnson Jr, Jefferson/ Graves, Thomas, Lively, Christie, Nembhard and AJ Johnson all 23 or younger. Then you still have Naji and Kyrie you could move and get 1st rounders+ for as well either this year at the deadline or next offseason and really put a bow on top of this rebuild for the Future. if they chose to move on and go with an all youth movement around Coop? That would also free up all the future cap space in the world to bring vets in too to mentor and take these young guys under their wings and help grow and develop their games. Or you could choose to take all that cap space to try to recruit young Stars if they hit the market as well. Me Personally I am making a run at Bennedict Mathurin this offseason and throwing him an offer big enough to make the Clippers pause and have to really think, if they want to match or not? Prob going to take at least 20-25M/yr to pry him away from the LAC. Yes I know he struggled with his efficiency this year, I am chalking that up to his turf toe issue he was trying to battle through this year. Has shown can be more than a capable shooter throughout his career. He is who I wanted more then anyone at the deadline last year. Another young player who is only 23 who fits perfect on your timeline and would be an amazing young 2 way star that is just now starting to scratch the surface of his potential to pair with Coop, who's game compliments Coops for years to come. He's and absolute DAWG.That would give you a Roster of 10 players 23 and under and make you the youngest most exciting/promising young raw team in the League that still has picks in most years of the drafts, sure may not control our own but we still have picks/pick swaps none the less, in most years we have a pick be it ours or someone else's.

9. I get why you don't like Sheppard, but I think there is a lot of potential there and the Mavs are in position to invest in development for a few years.

   For a Kyrie trade, it'd be about the picks. Houston get the best two of: Dallas, Phoenix, and Houston 2029s, with Brooklyn getting the other one. If you got the best of those three as the pick coming back, then that's basically three good shots at a top pick in 2029 (which is meant to be a good draft class). For that, Sheppard plus whatever salary you have to take, I'd do it.

11. Im not trading anybody for lu dort. Im satisfied with Pj washington's defense + 3pt shooting. We also have naji Marshall who's also a dog defensively and a better shooter than dort.

    I personally would much rather have Nikola Topic. I think he's got alot of potential and sad to say he isn't getting enough minutes in okc because they are a very guard-heavy team. He's younger, tall guard, good playmaker which is what we need, and good shooter.

12. I have hated Dort's game for years and would find it very hard to root for him on my team.
    Joe or Wiggins would be fine if the price is right.

18. Dort has bad basketball karma. As he’s gotten dirtier and dirtier, he’s three point shot has gone to crap and his defense isn’t what it used to be. He hasn’t been playing basketball the right way, and now he’s forgotten how. Mavs shouldn’t want him.
