What happens next is going to depend on how the other owners react to this. one would expect outrage that the richest owner in a huge market decided to create yet another advantage over the rest of the league. If it turns out the other owners aren't screaming for blood it makes you wonder how widespread this obvious circumventure of the salary cap is. Personally I would be screaming for Ballmers head on a spike.
