Darius Garland & Lonzo Ball made some WILD COMMENTS about the Cleveland Cavaliers’ playoff run

1. Should be garlands team. Why do the CAVS give him a max contract and dont stick with him and the young guns
   DON was not good for the team chemistry … i think Don has too high standards for his teammates. In an timeout or pregame he Talks to the team everybody has to be perfect. Thats total bs before a game nobody can be perfect, better to say everybody give their absolute best they can …

   Garland as leader would probably ben better for everybody … but it is what it is 😢

5. DEAD WRONG about Garland. The last time he was healthy on the cavs we were coming off a 64 win season and absolutely scorching the Heat in round 1. They also don't realize that one reason DM was so tired was because Garland got everybody easy shots. That's why most of the guys couldn't hit a 3 all playoffs. Garland distributes in the same style as Steve Nash and Rondo. Harden only knows how to pass out of double teams, and he doesn't draw double teams anymore. Harden can't beat young guys off the drbble anymore, so all the drive and kick offense died. We would've swept the raptors with Garland and prob beat the Pistons in 5 or 6.

13. I think they were saying more that when you bring in Harden you are dumping your entire system to basically play on on one basketball. Not that these guys would have helped, but they dumped an offense that was #1 in efficiency the year before.

16. I do agree with lonzo though on tyson and tomlin. Barely played tyson, who was a major contributor all season. He had a good game 7 against Toronto and was a reason why they won that game and then just stopped playing him after game 2 against Detroit. Tomlin was a great energy guy off the bench all year and he didn't even get a chance in the playoffs. Landry shamet barely played in the 1st two series and then was huge against the cavs when Mike Brown gave him a chance. Same with Jamison Battle, he literally won Toronto a game in the series when he got a chance, in the 4th quarter no less. Atkinson just had a terrible post season in my opinion. He was outcoached in all 3 series.

17. The Cleveland fanbase is so dumb. DG was a better fit for this team. The problem has been that Donovan Mitchell is an UNDERSIZED shooting guard and cannot play make at a high level and is a bad defender. Koby Altman has not build a team around those facts. At least Garland could run a high level offense. The problem wasn't Garland, the problem was they needed more size on the wing and up front behind Allen and Mobley. James Harden was not the solution. Cavs killed their championship window for the rest of the decade. Nothing will help now, not LeBron, not Giannis. The only solution now is to trade Mitchell for draft picks and start a rebuild around Tyson, Proctor, Tomlin and possibly Mobley.

19. LOL Should have subbed Tyson in for Harden when the 22nd pt game 1 lead vs Knicks started dissipating. Harden and Mitchel both are rhythm players that need to dominate time of possession to get a good shot…..problem is Mobley, Allen, and everyone else need touches…………..As a Cleveland fan…..its just kinda hard to watch….especially a basketball player watching this stuff……..If Harden wasn't so busy going to Vegas, and Kardashian slaying, maybe he'd have have some extra juice to practice and play a punch of defense……….

    What does Cleveland do from here?? Complete reset? Maybe trade litterally everyone except Mobley? Honestly Mobley sometimes seems soft AF…….for someone that won the Def player of the Year award……..and Mobley has the softest most gentle voice I've ever heard from a legit 7-footer…..

21. Zero proof on Garland take outside of injury concerns. Harden glaze and extended grace given is CRAZY. Buddy was a cone, TO’s etc DG is way more efficient FG wise and affects the game outside of stat sheet, with PACE!

    And I’d be sick too post Mitchell trade. After I showed you by taking a huge jump after Sexton goes down and make the all star team with me running the show.

25. I don't care what people gotta say. Lonzo just needed more time. He played less than 50 games between Bulls and Cavs tenure. His shot would've been back by playoffs. You don't go from almost 40% shooting and stay like that. He had no injuries since surgery and he would been a better fit than Dennis Schroder who did absolutely nothing. They gave up on him too soon. He could've been great to back up Harden especially on defense.
