Pay them man his 37-38m and tell him to hit the gym and put on 15 pds of muscle. Naysayers will say he's not worth it but the eye test and the numbers say he's worth it, young enough to still grow his game but he needs a good 10-15pds of muscle for reg season stamina and playoff physicality.

Absolutely not. It doesn’t matter what AR is worth relative to contract value league wide, it matters what he’s worth to the Lakers and how he impacts their ability to win a chip with Luka
He has all-star potential BUT he's not a max player in the 2nd apron era. This is where we build around Luka. Get some athletic bigs, defensive 3nD wings. Get a secondary creator and move on from Bron and AR (if he's at the max).

Give him 25M per yr at the most. He struggles vs elite teams and top players. Maxxing him destroys the cap and we will never have money to build around Luka.
