8. I'm usually not emotional but I have a hard time looking at DW after watching him in the ECF. I watched Dean Wade, our "defensive specialist", concede… SWITCH! AFTER SWITCH! AFTER SWITCH! Even after watching what was happening to his 36 year old PG. Play, after play, after play. It's because he is a "jobber", this is all just a job to him, he has no passion, and "defensive specialist" must have passion. I can't help thinking as fans do, if it were Jaylon in Deans place in the last 7 minutes of gm 1, and you told Jaylon his job was to stay on Brunson, I don't see JT conceding on switches, and leaving his 36 year old PG on an island with Captain Clutch himself. Of course i'm not in charge so I'll live with whatever the cavs do, guess i'd take wade of the bench, but like you said might not be worth the money.

9. What's the route to raise Wades scoring? How does he accomplish that? Do the Cavs have an unusual number of players that contribute is one dept but are weak in other departments? ie: Wade is a very good defender but his scoring is in the basement. Similar to Okuro

10. Why did we bother trading Hunter then? Makes that trade look horrible. Traded away picks for Hunter, and then traded away a great defender in Okoro for washed Lonzo bc we let Ty walk.

    Only to trade for Ellis to replace what we missed in Okoro and Dennis to replace what we miss in Ty…. to now not resigning Ellis…

11. I understand we need Dean for Size but I don't want Ellis to go. He was a monster on defense and caused of many turnovers.

12. Although I understand why Wade would be prioritized over Ellis, it feels like the Cavs are clinging to familiarity instead of taking a chance on a younger, more versatile forward. At 29, Wade is a well known commodity and I doubt that his game will be elevated to another level at this point in his career. That being said, if he is resigned, it better be to a team friendly contract, not an overpay out of fear of losing him to another team.

13. Prioritizing a guy who is scared to shoot, and dribble, and attack the rim, and shoot free throws, and is often hurt, is why I'll pass on hope in this team. I have no confidence in them… Thank God for 2016…

20. I agree that Wade is a good size and plays ok defense. Cavs can’t afford high priced players because of Mitchell, Harden and Mobley contracts. I would try to find unproven but high potential players. They have tied their hands with the 2nd apron

24. Unfortunately for ellis he had to learn a new system and wnet from a disheveled team to a playoff team.
    As you stated, the cavs are prioritizing Wade, but a team could still sign him. I would guess that the pivot would then be Ellis.
    No matter what though, wade or not, Tomlin needs more PT. Thr more the game slows down for him he could be a contoled ball of chaos to play quarters 1-3 in any game.
