Miami Heat Could Pull Off Trey Murphy III and Giannis Deal This Summer to Team w/ Bam Adebayo?

Tobin reacts to video of Bam Adebayo and Trey Murphy III hob nobbing at the French Open. Would the Miami Heat be able to pull off a deal for the Pelicans star? Would they be able to get him AND Giannis? Is Kel’el Ware the key to all of it or just reiterates that Miami doesn’t have enough. What would be left on the roster after a massive three-teamer deal?

  1. I’m a lifelong heat fan, but I want the next to win. WEMBY is gonna get his at some point, probably multiple. The people of New York deserve a championship once this generation.

  2. I'm so tired of this talk, what else is happening in Miami, sheesh, if this trade does not go through, all of the players should just totally freeze all these ppl like them, if you not from other outlets I'm talkin to you, giving you no content, this is insane

  3. I wish Pat would include Bam in the Giannis trade. We traded Glen Rice for Zo. Also trading Bam and getting off his negative contract gives up more flexibility getting an actual elite guard that Giannis would need if the heat were to be successful.

Let's be honest, Bam and Giannis is a terrible fit offensively Bam has no touch inside around the rim or outside from 3. On defense people think it's good which I agree but they would still struggle against elite bigs. Bam talks big about guarding 1 – 5 but it's really 1 – 4 the elite true big bodied centers are just too big for him and Giannis and we'd be giving up Ware in the trade. Bam isn't a bad player but he's over paid for what he brings on the court and the only players we could bring in the next 2 – 3 years are vet ring chasers not anyone in their prime who can score to compliment Giannis and Bam who need someone like that.

If we don't include Bam in the trade we are gonna be a 6th seed 2nd round exit and the next year having bam and Giannis makes it difficult to find guys to build around.

Running it back we will be mid af but if we don't resign our vets we have flexibility in the future. I don't mind trading for Giannis as it's exciting but the ceiling is limited with a Giannis Bam pairing.

  4. Draft either Cameron Carr or Nate Ament at 13. Save your picks for Antman. Keep Kas, Herro, Bam, Ware, JJJ and Pelle. Get Ja’s bad contract with either Memphis’ 16 picks or future second rounds. Sign free agent and get a veteran big.

  5. Where is Davion Mitchell in this scenario, starting 5 Davion, Giannis, Bam, Powell & Trey? That’s an all defensive team. Plus Wiggins and Pelle if they don’t go. The heat could figure out the rest from there easy!

  6. Hate to say it but I’m not feeling the giannis deal with how much we would have to give up, if it’s basically going to gut half our team for 1 player I’d rather wait till next years free agency when we have a tonne of cap space
