Please no! We don’t need another top 50 player. We, like EVERY other team that plays for the championship need a TOP 5 superstar AND other stars around them. Cam is NOT that. AJ or DP has a shot at it…….
Dude…He is Magic Johnson with a better 3 point shot. Put him at the 1 with Keyonte or Ace at the 2. Lauri at 3 JJJ at 4 and Walker at 5. That is a Unstoppable CREW. Think outside the Box.
I reckon KAT's performance in the finals will make people think more of Boozer, they share a lot of the same qualities. And if the Knicks win KAT will most likely be the finals MVP.
If the health checks come out bad on DP then the pick is Boozer or AJ depending on Washington.
We’ve had Mikel Brown in a workout. I don’t get why but it appears they are doing their due diligence.
I’d take DP at #1, but I also trust the Ainges.
Maybe DP is a flameout- or is a hospital ball player; deficient or always injured (akin to how Jalen Green is/was for being a #2 pick, or how Scoot Henderson was for being a #3), but we need a superstar like the best teams all have. I feel like DP gives us the best chance of that if everything comes back clean.
It would suck to pass on MJ for Sam Bowie. To pass on Luka Doncic for Marvin Bagley. Prospects aren’t generally surefire bets unless it’s Flagg, Wemby, LeBron- players like that. But Andrew Wiggins was supposed to be the next Lebron and didn’t live up to that potential; especially in his 5 years in Minnesota, and then finally found his niche in Golden State.
But my point is- let’s try to have an open mind, and not ‘x-out’ all other prospects because we’re set on one prospect, but at the same time, let’s not talk ourself out of guys whom have a good chance of panning out and overthink things.
If medicals come back clean, I think that it’s between AJ and DP at 2. Washington gets dibs.
Oh and PSA for all the uninformed podcasters (not you James) that still think that trading up to #1 with Ace Bailey involved in that trade: THAT IS NOT AN OPTION OR POSSIBILITY. We would riot and revolt if that were to happen.

Boozer is a 4 we just traded for a allstar 4 it literally is the dumbest thing if we take him DP is legit maybe they are doing everything from talking about DP because they want him to fall to two
