   Such a move would help in so many ways, and at the same time would create a new identity with Maxey and VJ controlling the first quarter.

   And the main decision to make is whether Gansey will get permission to spend over the 1st Apron.
   Being 3 M over the 1st Apron (11 M over the Luxury Tax) at the end of the season would only result in having a 12.3 M tax bill.
   Doing so would almost guarantee that both Oubre and Grimes can be re-signed and their contracts could be traded later on.

   No one confronted Gansey on this main issue, although Adam Aaronson (who also understands the CBA despite being only about 24 yrs old) is pondering this issue.

   Embid needs to be on a strict management scheme for his ability to get to 3rd round going forward

   The issue is coaching.
   On the defensive end you need two schemes Aggressive Defensive scheme and a Protective Defensive scheme
   Offense is the same

5. Sixers need to bring in a legitimate backup Center
   They can still develop Bona during that time and run some G league training runs to proof of concept his game

   He got paid too much and handcuffed us like Tobias contract did

7. They already shot themselves in the foot once why make them do it twice by trading picks to get off the bad contracts? You draft who you think will work next to Maxey and VJ's skillset not cause you're desperate for an embiid replacement and will take anyone over 6'10. Me personally in no particular order I'm looking at Chris Cenac, Dailyn Swain, Isaiah Evans at 22. If Morez Johnson jr is somehow there though that's my dream pick personally.

8. You guys are WAY too negative. You probably feel that the fans want to hear negativity. The Sixers fanbase is always very angry.

   BTW, Joel is estimated to be owed 188 M in guaranteed money (not a larger figure).
   That figure is based on 35% of the estimated 165 M salary cap. The exact value should be know by June 30.

   And YES, if his workouts are very promising, I'd consider going with the 7'3" Italian project, who did very well in the Adriatic league.
   He would have 3 yrs to develop into the full time replacement for Embiid. That would fit everyone's timeline.
   The question is how much time would he need in the G-League before being counted on to provide useful playing time.
   And it might mean keeping BOTH Bona and Drummond for the start of the season, thereby taking a roster spot away from someone at another position.
