SALARY SQUEEZE: Can Orlando Magic SURVIVE with limited moves to improve their team?
The Orlando Magic enter this offseason knowing they will pay the luxury tax and likely be in the first apron. That will severely limit what they can do this offseason. The team may not be able to do much more than roll back the same roster considering their roster limitations and their unwillingness to trade their starters.
Yossi Gozlan of Third Apron and Sports Business Classroom joins the show to break down the Magic’s cap situation, who they can acquire, the big decisions that are on the horizon and how the Magic move forward and improve.
He breaks down their free agent options, the evolving trade market and Anthony Black’s upcoming extension talks. The Magic may be right to bring back the same core players and try again. But they will need to be careful moving forward. They cannot sustain as a second apron team for long.

Preferably suggs and wagner
Orlando Magic should get involved in the trade with Miami and the Bucks we need Ware trade Wendell and Da Silva to get back Ware we would save money and we don't have to get rid of Suggs or Black sign Black to a deal 4 years 80 Mill sounds perfect while he is becoming more of a consistent player.
Why is no talking about jaden Ivey?
We easily could get him for leg minimum
Suggs is the offensive piece that doesn’t fit. His salary either needs to be redistributed to 2-3 players that fit beside Banchero/Wagner/Bane or a straight up trade for a true PG that can distribute and knock down outside/open shots consistently. Even if you give up a little defense losing Suggs it’s worth it.
How many times do we need to see this group fail, sell high on Suggs now. A combination of Suggs, Goga, and JI can bring back a good player that can help us now. Can use a WCJ upgrade but as you have mentioned before can’t do much better than him for the money we pay him. So for that reason I’m cool on keeping WCJ.
