Best way for the Sixers to get better other than getting off those crazy contracts of Embiid or George is to get younger and much larger and taller in the frontcourt. You build around Maxey and Edgecomb and surround them with long lean forwards and centers. Guards are a dime a dozen. You find a real veteran point guard to help set up the offense and spell Maxey and can probably find some good guards in the second round , if they have second rounders this year. Please no more guards. At least not at your first pick.
If the best available player is a guard, at 22. Then get a athletic, shooting guard.
Sixers are one forward injury away from starting backups at forward. Center who knows who plays when Embiid inevitably misses games. Reality is they need multiple positions.
