The San Antonio Spurs Just Went Out Sad… 😳

The San Antonio Spurs led in all 4th quarters of the NBA Finals, and yet they lost in FOUR OF THEM…. 😭

So what’s next for the Spurs 🤔

  1. I remember when the Bucks had this crazy bright future too…..

You gotta capitalize when given the opportunity. You never know if you’re going to make it back

  2. This is what happens when your team is a bunch of kids and one incredibly overpaid mediocre player. What's scary is the future they have. If they dump fox, they only have one guy making over 20m.

  3. YOU ARE WRONG ABOUT GAME 4…. Goes to show how clueless you are. If he held the ball he was going to get fouled within a second with 12seconds left. And the free throws are not automatic. Just ask wemby when he missed 2 just a minute before. The reason they lost is because the coach let them play like fools for almost 2 quarters, jacking up ugly 3s and too many bad possessions because everyone in San Antonio team thought they had the game won 😂🤣

  4. Weren't the Knicks down by like 10+ every 4th quarter besides that 1st game? Like when the whistle was even, and the game was just played out.

If you are giving up 10+ point leads in the 4th continuously in a series, then it isn't as simple as a few mistakes. The Spurs have a lot of changes they need to make in line ups, most likely, on top of the inexperience issue.

  5. De'Aaron Fox is not the main reason why the spurs lost game 4 of the NBA finals its the teams fault for blowing a 29 point lead its not only fox's fault… Most of you would probably make the same decision he made in the moment.

  6. As a new yorker, a PROUD new yorker, i can not deny it, had the coach coached better, and had the team collectively learned to slow the game down, the spurs would have won.

Im eternally grateful for what the Knicks did for the city, but even I know this is the Wemby era.

The questios become how soon will he get his, and how many….

  7. The spurs might have to go in a different direction with the coach you need an older experienced coach for the situation they faced because it seemed like he was unable to reach his players mentally 🤔

  8. …could've easily beat the Knicks? A 4 1 series does NOT reflect "easily beat them" or even "a few mental mistakes". Let that sink in. Oh, and those cheatin ass refs and spurs dirty playing, and they still got their asses handed to them…in their own house!

  9. Don’t overreact. If this was replayed it could just as easily be 3-2 or even 4-1 Spurs. They just need to rethink and learn about end of game execution. Wemby needs a reliable go-to move and a counter. They need offensive motion that can get him to those spots. A healthy Fox should do fine. And I’d be good with a Pascal Siakam type of big forward.
Then, run it back smarter and hungrier.

  10. I said from the beginning Spurs would loss, they play dirty, but many want to talk about OKC but all you Spurs fan was so sure they would take it. Yes my THUNDER didn't win but yours didn't either. 😂

  11. They need to replace Mitch ! Point blank ! If that was pop, it would ran differently. He didn’t let Harper play his minutes . Took him out at wrong times, and kept the guys that wasn’t hitting in . Just fu stupid !

  12. If they can't move Fox yet, never let him and Dylan Harper play at the same time (seriously bad idea)…
Stronger Power Forward maybe?!?!? Trade someone for this?
A veteran champion player as well?!?!? This is a mental issue to win!!! A veteran is a saving grace…

  13. Seems like this team just blew their wad vs okc. The elation they showed after winning that series was as if they won. Their whole team was clutch in that series and shot much better from 3. Every time the thunder would threaten a run, fox or castle would hit a big shot to keep the game in check. None of that happened vs the Knicks.

  14. Fox doesn't really have any playoff experience either. If anything I would replace the coach. Thibs comes to mind, but I wouldn't be too worried about the Spurs their gonna have plenty more finals opportunities, and you need these kind of painful losses to get that chip on your shoulder look at Jordan and the Pistons, LeBron and his entire first run with the Cavs. Worse comes to worst they'll always have the refs on their side.
