Manning: Giannis to Celtics is a NO BRAINER “Massive Upgrade”

1. Getting rid of Jaylen will be the biggest mistake this celtics ever make.

2. BOS should be eyeing Jarrett Allen and/or Herb Jones. Both could probably be brought in without giving up Brown. STARTERS: harper, brown, herb/walsh, JT, Allen. BENCH: PP, Hugo, Walsh*, Queta.
   How does this look rather than giving up Brown for Giannis? imo better

4. Do not trade JB panic move were are coming off a season where we knew we were not going anywhere! JB had a great year and we played way over our heads in regular season then many had way bigger expectations because we got JT at 60% back.

5. Do you actuallly get better if your trade JB pluse another player, like PP or D.White for Giannis? Do you get better if you get a guy who is a top 5 player like Giannis, at the expend of JB who is a top 10-12 player plus a D.White or P.P? Because you are not getting Giannis for JB, unless you are attacthing multiple picks(+-3/4)

This is stupid when we've already won a chip with two dominant fowards we need to build a better cast around the J's splitting them up is Insane when your not going to get the same value for Jaylen unless you just want to rebuild around Tatum who's injury prone get Gianis whos also injury prone and couldn't lead his team to a top 5 seed while being the lone star while jb had a career year leading us to 2nd seed like I dont understand the the worry when when need to focus on grabbing a serviceable big a another shot creator i believe the Celtics will be fine

13. The Celtics have two top 15 players on their team in their primes that automatically makes them a contender. The problem has never been the Jays the problem has always been the surrounding pieces. I'm not opposed to trading for giannis. But there are bsome major problems Jayson Tatum and giannis plays the same position maybe giannis moves to the five and play center maybe Jayson Tatum moves to the three and plays small forward, I wouldn't want him to do that coming off an Achilles injury I wouldn't want him moving up a position I would rather he stays at power forwar. But at the end of the day even with giannis and Jayson Tatum the guard position on the Celtics is just not strong enough offensively or defensively and I don't know how they're going to fix this issue with two Max contract players weather that player is jaylen brown or giannis.

14. I think the Celtics should try and get Simons and Vucevic back at discount prices, since they're both coming off of injury seasons. White and Pritchard have always played better when the Celtics had a good third PG. If they got them back and they made it to the playoffs healthy, they could make a run to the finals. I don't like the idea of trading Brown for Giannis, too risky considering Giannis age and injury history. We also have to look at Tatums injury history. The past two seasons, Tatum got hurt in the playoffs and couldn't continue. Brown has been the healthier of the two. Would suck to trade Brown for Giannis and then Giannis and Tatum both get hurt. I'd rather take a chance with Simons and Vucevic and keeping Brown and Tatum together

20. Giannis has never played with a real # 2 star. Lillard is a player you can't win with. Holiday is a 3rd or 4th option. Middleton is a 3rd or 4th option. He basically won the championship with Holiday, Middleton, Lopez, Portis. They had Pat Connaughton and PJ Tucker playing 30 min a night. The Celtics should have a better roster than that the day after the trade.

24. Truly astounding how bad people are overreacting after this past season. Did we choke against philly? 1000% we did, inexcusable. That said, we greatly overachieved this season. The roster was flawed all year, however this was masked by the system the coaching staff put in place and guys buying into their roles + excelling in them. Playing harder than other teams will get you regiular season success, however come playoff time it almost always comes down to talent + half court execution, and thats where we got exposed. I trust Brad and the front office to make the necessary moves to retool around the J's this offseason.
