Unless the players take it upon themselves to orchestrate a run at the championship next year I don't think they are going to succeed .The coaching was non existent and the Cavs played like there was no team offensive or defense strategy in place . Player rotation was horrible and Atkinson spent most of the losses looking exasperated and did little to encourage/inspire the players or make in game adjustments. He was exposed for what he probably is at this stage of his career – an assistant coach at best and not a leader of men .

PG can be LBJ or other two or three guys signed as PG…SG is Mitchell…SF is LBJ…PF Mobley or Giannis, C Allen….all 3 and D guys are high 3p% guys. Check the spacing 😉

17. i don't like it but it's clear either Allen or Mobley have to go in a trade. And based off his playoff performance…i more inclined to go with moving Mobley. Mobley is not a "big" on the offensive side of the court. Their entire playoff run i saw him getting the ball slapped out of his hands by guards as he tried to move into the paint. He's great on the defensive side which is why i'd love to keep him. But i don't think there's any other chip the cavs have right now that's more valuable in a trade. I don't know if Giannis gets them over the hoop. You'd think in some theoretical matchup in the Finals with the Spurs that having both Mobley and Allen would be a great combo to at least contain Wemby. But Mobleys offensive output is just a nonstarter. We don't have him on the team to shoot 3's.

    I don't have an answer tbh. Cavs finances are so strapped up i don't know what htey can do other than sell off everything. Im not happy with Kenny tho. I thought his playoff coachign was utterly atrocious and the cavs only got as far as they did on 1v1 talent. They played "awful" as a team and frankly that's on coach K.

Donovan Mitchell ,is not Micheal Jordan .micheal Jordan didn’t start winning until he had some solid teammates & phil Jackson as a coach.can Donovan Mitchell be more than just a scorer,so far no.jordan never had an issue being the closer or making the big shots.new players ,coach ,it’s a roll of the dice .the Cavs r maxed out in player money & they did not win .all the teams start over again next year.
