Which Maverick will last longer, Dwight Powell or Locked On?
Draft one of the guards, trade to one of the early teens for Steinbach + 2027 or 2028 1st rd pick. Elite rebounding, passing feel & physicality give him one of the highest floors in class. None of these guards can give you immediate NBA level production. Cooper is a winner, I’m not sure he wants pet projects around him.

Dallas does not have the assets to trade up unless they trade 1) Kyrie or 2) Gut the team of three good players and a pick.

Looks like the Mavs are really scouring that 2nd round and rookie free agent market. Hopefully we can find another Nembhard/Cisse. Both of those kids deserve a roster spot and a chance to earn consistent playing time imho.
Gafford/Klay for the Lakers 25 (and probably some bad contract) would be REALLY sweet!!! Why take a gamble on some rookie big to play with Luka when you can get one of his favorites & can actually play some defense for you?
Then I think Dallas is in a REALLY good spot to do anything they need to do. 3 first round picks & a 2nd. You can move almost ANYWHERE in the draft without even thinking about touching future picks….even if you gotta throw in a PJ or Naji.

Is Lively already less than Robert Williams is right now ? I’d sell high on Lively when the time comes because that’s going to be a headache losing the first round with your center on the bench with an ankle sprain. Clippers need a C is Lively enough if Acuff is available ? Maybe they need another veteran or two Dallas has on the roster.
