Why These 3 Trade Targets Actually Make Sense For The Timberwolves…

1. We need Ja’s skill set, but not Ja.

2. Dennis jenkins would also be a good pickup

3. I’d throw in getting Tyus back to Minnesota who’d be inexpensive and great PG for wolves. Whether or not you miss out on the bigger superstars. Grab Quickly, Suggs, Tyus wouldn’t be bad

4. Quickley is a score first guard that couldn’t put up numbers on a team that desperately needed offense. I’d rather have Jordan Poole than him

5. Maybe with the exception of a Ja who refound himself, I don't think any of these options are better than starting Ayo.

6. I've got dejonte murray as the top target personally. Shouldn't be too expensive to get

7. I would rather scoot Henderson over jalen suggs tbh

8. You showed all their strengths, so with that said id take the guy who plays good defense and has ok offense in suggs. But what would a trade look like for him ?

9. Dejounte and Suggs for me personally. I'd be willing to throw in the 2033 pick for Suggs, but not in a Dejounte trade.

11. If Ja can buy in to being the #2 behind Ant and can stay healthy, he’d be amazing to have. But I’m not confident about either of those things happening.

12. How do you have this long of a breakdown of Ja's usefulness to the team and completely ignore his usage rate? He's even higher than Julius isn't he? How could he possibly slot into the lineup with a high usage player like Ant?

    Also isn't Ja just D'Angelo Russell with no 3 ball?

16. Jake, I think we need to look at the center position and cycle in some new targets to talk about. How about one of your countrymen? Jock Landale destroyed us twice last year on two different teams! As a backup, he would be a great floor spacer and open up the middle for ANT and Jaden to get to the hoop.

    What about Myles Turner as the starter?

    Or there are athletic rim runners who can block shots like Time Lord or Nic Claxton.

17. How about overlooked guards? Quentin Grimes and Kelly Oubre, Jr. could be fascinating. Luke Kennard is a defensive travesty, but he is a dead shot. My favorite would be a trade for Ty Jerome and Cam Spencer. Collin Gillespe will likely get resigned by the Suns, but he would be a great fit for any team. I'd rather build a roster with more affordable pieces than to go top heavy.

I don't care what people say I would LOVE ja morant on the wolves. Him and Ant would kill it in the league and give us (I believe) the best backcourt in the league. The most athletic for sure, I think Jaden Mcdaniels and Ant are our only untouchables and there is enough there in picks, contracts to get us back to the wcf and to win!!!!!

19. I think Ja is the best if they plan to just move Randle and keep Rudy. If they are able to/want to sell high on Rudy I like Suggs more bc of how he makes the defense better and helps optimize Jaden. Quickely’s shooting is nice but I don’t think Connelly wants that contract on the books. That seems like an option you go to if you can’t get Suggs or Ja.

20. The problem with Ja is that whether it’s Rudy or Joan, that’d be two non-shooters. They need another knockdown shooter. I’d move Rudy for picks, combine that with the two picks we can trade and get Trey Murphy. Then get Ja for Julius plus something.

    Ja, Ant, Trey, Jaden, Naz, Ayo, TSJ and Joan is a great fitting young core.
