Nope
He's young, was an all-star last year…The Heat aren't giving him up cheap. But with Duncan Robinson on his last year of his contract and well into his 30s, he'd help the team. I'd still try to get Porter or Murphy first if available.
This guy is not thinking. Tyler is 🗑️
Yes Herro is an upgrade but Holland is piece that could facilitate a Trey Murphy III trade. Would like Detroit to be involved with that trade first before adding a guy like Herro. If they could get Herro and TMIII that's a good offseason. Also would Detroit be able to bring back Harris?
im not losing ron for a rental we need ron to get tre
Use your heads…. Miami doesn't want to extend herro. They have no leverage they don't want to keep him. You could acquire him for cheap In terms of assets that you'd have to give up. You should be looking to get him for like caris/ sasser and Duncan and second round picks not Ron Holland or any first round picks.
They can't have Herro and Duncan Robinson and still call themselves a defensive team.
Heat fan here, paying attention to anything that has to do with Giannis to Miami. Tyler is a bit of an anomaly. Defensively, he is not good…I'd say he's trash, but he tries, and he has good instincts off ball, but he's going to get cooked one-on-one. Y'all have Cade and Ausar to cover that up, though. He's always been a good rebounding guard, and he can handle the ball and take that responsibility off Cade. He's also a solid playmaker, maybe where he's made the most improvement…that and being able to finish at the rim through contact.
The injuries are weird because, yeah, it's been an issue, but they've been fluky…lands on someone's foot off a floater and turns the ankle real bad. Broken hand at the end of the first half in game 1 of the playoffs against the Bucks in the first round after diving for a loose ball and landing wrong. Extra bone in his ankle area last year that they held surgery on, hoping it wouldn't come to that. They're not ligament or serious injuries like that.
He's missed most of Miami's playoff runs because of those injuries, but the one year he played 70-odd game (two seasons ago) and they met Boston in the playoffs, Boston's defense keyed on him and the entire Heat team couldn't do shit against them. He maybe fared best against them. But I think the playoff numbers might really be limited to his rookie year, that series against Boston, and the first half of the Milwaukee game. Not a big sample size.
All in all, y'all will get a motivated Tyler, on a team who has a legit star and solid defense around him. Might be good.
Trade holland, Stewart and Sasser and 2 first and a pick swap for Murphy. Trade Levert and Duncan Robinson for Herro
Tyler Herro playoffs 32% 3P – 48% 2P un 59 games. That's not a perfect fit. And his defense was….
I’m just going to say holland is tradable but for the right player I wish we could get Lauri and Trey Murphy as long as we keep Cade and duren everybody else can go
Please no. Herro is the biggest douche in the league
Herro isn't worth his contract unless we can get him for matching salary. He's not worth 3 1st. I wouldn't be happy if it was Ron and him straight up. You could get a lot better than Herro for three 1st.l round picks.
Herro would need a new contract after this season.
