Could Chicago Bulls STEAL Jalen Duren From Pistons?!

The Chicago Bulls could have their eyes on Detroit Pistons big man Jalen Duren, and this rumor could get very interesting fast.

John Hollinger recently reported that the Bulls could be circling if the Pistons get cold feet on Duren’s next deal, and that raises a major question for Chicago: should the Bulls be aggressive in trying to add a young, athletic center who already fits the timeline?

Pat The Designer breaks down what Jalen Duren would bring to the Bulls, how his 2025-26 regular season production compared to his playoff numbers, why Detroit’s contract situation matters, and whether Chicago should see this as a real opportunity to upgrade the frontcourt.

Could Jalen Duren be the Bulls’ next big swing? Or would the price be too dangerous for a team still figuring out its future?

  1. Don’t think Jalen Duran is the guy idk hear me out now feel like a Rob Williams cheaper and sane player if healthy Taris Reed or even Quantance could be a much cheaper better option

  2. Duren isn't going anywhere and if does it would be through sign n trade not cold feet where Detroit recieves assets in return.

You dont allow a 22 y/o, 20/10 all/nba3, all star to just walk.

Acting like Duren was stopped by 1 man wheter it be Carter or Allen is crazy. Detroit has some serious spacing issues. Too many extra defenders hanging out in the paint.

When Cade went down last month of reg season and Tatum retured everyone had Boston catching Detroit. Duren became Detroits #1 option creating for himself, dominating to a 23/13/2 clip, as Detroit secured the 1 seed.

People have lost touch with good Duren is but thats the internets job.

  3. NEVER going to happen; Detroit had an amazing year. Detroit can offer him a $100M more than any other team so why would he take a 50 percent pay cut to come to the dumpster fire that is the Chicago Bulls. This doesn’t make sense on its face regardless of what ANYONE says

  4. Go get Kel’el Ware. If you have Wilson and Buzelis, your front court is going to need some 3 point shooting. Ware is going to be better than Duren and Kesslet regardless.
