16. The Spurs need a big that can play with Wemby. Duncan was always the power forward. He played with someone else at center most of the time. Wemby needs to take care of his body because gaining too much weight could negatively impact his career. But they need a big who can bang with the more physical players and make it more difficult for them to just beat up Wemby. Perk's take on Ginobli was wrong though, he was a sixth man but he was part of their big three. I don't think him coming off the bench reflects badly on him, I think he bought in to a system that worked.

20. Very simple. spurs front office is way overated! They have drafted badly for very long – Primo, the 3 idiots from the first round 2023 draft class to name a few! They were lucky to get Wembly, Castle and Harper which are no brainer at their respective draft pick. I can assure everyone they will screw up again this 2026 draft because their pick is in the 20 – meaning they need to use their brain a bit which they don’t have! Then on top of this they give Fox such a huge contract! They could simply can wait for a year and see how Harper pen out first before making such a decision. Sure they could lose Fox for nothing but I think it’s still way better than having a huge and unmovable contract for a at best, above average NBA PG.
