Is the drama w/ Kyrie Irving & JR Smith ruining the 10th anniversary of the Cavaliers’ championship?

The Cleveland Cavaliers’ 2016 NBA Finals team is having a ball across the pond … and for those wondering why Kyrie Irving isn’t on the trip, it appears J.R. Smith addressed the matter head-on. LeBron James, Tristan Thompson, Kevin Love and more are in Europe to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of their iconic title run this week … with golf being a big focal point of the gathering. | https://www.tmz.com/2026/06/17/jr-smith-claims-kyrie-irving-ghosted-cavs/

  1. Kyrie doesn’t look at the world at face value, he isn’t concerned with trivial stuff. If the man doesn’t want to fly to Europe, I don’t blame him flying across the Atlantic to hang out. They should’ve got together in the US.

  2. The guys will probably be back at the start of the regular 2026 season. However, LeBron and Kyrie are still playing, so bringing them back as a team might not happen. Keep in mind JR, 2026 isn’t over sir.

  3. Funny a journalist D bag named Bull calling an athlete D bag.

Funny how these journalist call athletes names but when folks online light these punk journalist up they go online and start crying.

    Bunch of punks!

  4. I really hate when ppl try to make me feel that I HAVE to go somewhere. Last I checked Kyrie is an adult and can choose to go where he likes. I actually don't blame him for not wanting to be there.

  5. Plan any kind of reunion, and someone who could've gone and should've went will not be there. Just be glad for those that came , and have a good time because the people that came to the 10th may not be there for the 20th.And Bull needs to apologize for his " F Kyrie." comment.

  6. I find it absolutely INSANE how Kyrie can literally say NOTHING, be an absolute MODEL of a human being accounted by so many people he’s encountered and aided throughout the years and this garbage narrative still follows him. KYRIE NEVER BAD MOUTHS ANYONE, NEVER SAYS SHIT ABOUT ANYBODY. Yet you ppl still want to attach “drama” to his name. Fucking disgusting.

  7. Kyrie can't ruin a reunion. The basketball speaks for itself.

That said, Kyrie has magnificent handles and a broken mind. Dude is toxic.

Regarding the comments about Harden and Durant, those guys are super tight. They were absolutely not the problem in Brooklyn.

  8. LeBron tried to give Kyrie the blueprint of becoming wealthy and investing. But Kyrie rejected LeBron as if he was some bum on the street. But now LeBron is a billionaire and Kyrie wishes that he had listened to him.

  9. Black Dude U look so damn STUPID up here with these DA White guys trying to tear Kyrie’s Legacy down- IT WILL NOT WORK PERIOD. If U truly cared about Kai, one of your Dumb Azzzes would have done your homework instead of listening to a washed up Smith GTFOOH. Talk bad about a white player and let’s see what your so called friends/peers have to say….those MFs will have all type of excuses for them period. Stop 🛑 being a follower to get along and so damn Stupid

  10. "Eff Kyrie. He's a D-Bag"

Looks like Bull views LeBron as a father figure too. All these grown ass men really get their feelings hurt over the choices of grown men. Kyrie's at a camp helping mentor the league's next influx of superstars (giving them life experience, sharing mistakes he made, coaching them through drills) and Bull's feelings are hurt he didn't spend it golfing and drinking wine in Europe in a literal CASTLE.

Softest take I've ever seen on this show. Ever.

  11. He will be remembered as a weirdo … really…

What I find funny is how people immediately jumped to "Kyrie is bitter" because he didn't go on a golf trip.

Where was all this brotherhood when Kyrie was getting dragged by the media for years? When he was dealing with the Nets situation? When he was getting blasted over every controversy? I don't remember many of these people rushing to publicly defend him then.

And let's not rewrite history. The public narrative is that Kyrie just woke up one day and wanted out of Cleveland. But there were reports for years that the relationship between LeBron, the Cavs and Kyrie was already strained, and that trade possibilities were being discussed before the trade request became public.

So why is it automatically Kyrie who's the villain?

Maybe he simply had other commitments. Maybe he didn't feel the need to attend. Maybe not every former teammate relationship has to be turned into a loyalty test.

The fact that people saw one photo and immediately started psychoanalyzing Kyrie kind of proves the point.
