Fox, who is under contract through the 2029-30 season, could provide a significant boost to the Bulls’ backcourt, but his large contract presents challenges for any potential trade. Additionally, the Bulls are also monitoring the free agency market, particularly the situation with Utah Jazz center Walker Kessler, who could be a target if the Jazz don’t match offers. Bulls Report host Patrick Siepman breaks down the latest Chicago Bulls news, rumors, and trade ideas in today’s video.

– Would you pay $30 per year for Walker Kessler? Type ‘Y’ for Yes or ‘N’ for No
– Would you trade for De’Aaron Fox? Type ‘T’ for trade or ‘P’ for Pass

A hypothetical trade scenario between the Chicago Bulls and the San Antonio Spurs involving De’Aaron Fox has been discussed, but Bulls Report host Patrick Siepman believes there’s no realistic framework for such a deal. In this proposed trade, the Bulls would receive the 2026 1st-Round Pick (#20) and De’Aaron Fox (PG), while the Spurs would acquire Josh Giddey (PG), Patrick Williams (F), and Jalen Smith (C). This trade would be difficult to execute due to the salary implications and the value of the players involved, making it unlikely to materialize for the Chicago Bulls.

  1. Sounds intriguing but if we are rebuilding they should focus on that. I know this New York Knick way of doing things is gonna be enticing, but the Bulls need to be patient and think about the future.

  2. If you go through rosters, Fox is the guy I can see a team paying to offload. Especially if they can sign a LeBron, Kawhi, even a Walker Kessler. The 3 1st cover each year and will be late picks. Chicago should consider it if they can use those picks to go up for a PG instead of trading our future 1st. More a 3 team trade at the end to move up. Then you put Fox next to Giddey and feed him the rock up until the deadline lol. All of a sudden, you can get decent value, atleast Lavine value for him.

  3. Dillingham, Sexton, Simons, Tre Jones. 1 of these guys at most is what Spurs would take back. They are paying the picks to offload salary. Could the use an Exception on 1 of those guys who they think help their roster? For sure. Sign and Trade Mle stuff.
