We may need to replace Fox and Harper/castle in a couple years (plus if we trade Fox, we need to replace him with a cheap bench player that actually plays)

13. Honestly I really like your idea of using a first round pick from 2029 to move up to get Johnson. Will have the chances to replace it when we trade Fox and potentially Vassell down the line. Also Cavs at 29 is the perfect trade up partner. Only 1 pick this year and many holes to fill. 35, 42, and probably a future 2nd (if needed) should gets us to 29. 15. The Spurs would be happy to get Isaiah Evans in the second round. He is an elite shooter with size and would definitely have value in the second round. Especially if we move on from Devin/Keldon in the next three years.

    We get off Fox money open up the starting spot for Dylan and get a back up pg in monk plus sabonis to play pf he can do a little bit of everything plus wemby makes up for his lack of defense.

    We also free up money to try to sign John Collins to sure up the roster. The only draw back is that the odd man out is Carter Bryant as he loses out on playing time. Let me know what u think

22. My wishlist is LeBron or Draymond at PF. Yep never gonna happen 😂 Unbelievable OKC has two picks ahead of us. Their last two 1st Rd picks are coming off injuries. They will have an even deeper roster going into next year.

24. a realistic trade i can see happening is the cavs trading their 29th pick for 2 of our seconds. adding 2 2nd round picks is cheaper than one 1st round pick and they’re well above the second apron, so imo it makes sense

25. I like Joshua Jefferson great all around player that could help us right away. Also a point guard would be smart to let him learn for 1 or 2 seasons behind fox and harper.

26. The Spurs are a contender now and they won't reinforce the roster with rookies out of the lotery. The drafted players will mainly play in Austin and several minutes with the Spurs. If one of them could become a rotation player two/three years from now, it would already be excellent.

    I don't imagine the Spurs to draft three rookies as we need spots in the roster to add impacting veterans (players who could play in a playoff run !!!).

    Despite having two picks in the top20, I don't see Memphis or Charlotte to trade down for several second round picks (their rosters are already loaded). The Bulls could be interested to trade down their 15th pick with us to add a maximum of rookies in the roster (as they are rebuilding…).

    Denver or Cleveland could also be interested to trade down their first round pick to add several second round picks (as they could be interested to add several very cheap players to avoid the second apron !!).

    I will be more interested by the Spurs free agency this summer. We need to spend our MidLevel to attract a very good PF who fits next to Victor : Hachimura, John Collins, others,…
    I will also be very interesting to see which minimum veterans the Spurs can attract (from being now a contender)…

28. Your last outcome is my ideal outcome, except I'd want alex karaban over taris reed jr, but I'd be overjoyed if it plays out your way. People are high on chris cenac jr, and I also think he's ok at 20, he has great measurements but I fear his motivation, reminds me a bit of ayton. He strikes me as a very Brian Wright pick. And not a lottery Brian Wright pick.

29. I am concerned about Brian Wtight's ability here. When something is not blatantly obvious, and sometimes even when it is, I see him make word choices. I'm going to spend a lot of time wishing and praying he makes good decisions.

30. Have you considered selecting Wyatt Frick from Marshall? That is one of the guys the Spurs brought in to try out. He is a beast on most of his video's. It's a shame we can't see him up close in a scrimmage. If he is anything like he is on video or close, he would be the steal of the draft. He might even go undrafted and picked up by the Spurs at a later date. I like Zuby. Zuby has a higher ceiling than Karaban.

33. The Cavs pick was originally ours. Historically Spurs have done pretty good at the 28 and 29th spot.

34. Keep your eye on Karim Lopez, a forward that we desperately need. I heard you saying Lopez would be good for the thunder. We need to do what we've got to do to pick our player and not regret looking at him next year and the playoffs on a team that we will be facing. Do not want to see that!!!
