3. i think people are discounting the fact that Luke Kennard knows Lakers are NBAs premier team and he likes playing in that environment.

   similarly Rui is from Japan and everyone from his country knows the Lakers but not other teams.

   to me there's room for a premier team / home team discount you might be able to get with those players in the same way as you might with Austin Reaves.

7. If we’re ok with a rookie with limited offense where he can really only catch and dunk why aren’t we ok with Vando? Hes limited offensively and can certainly catch and dunk with the proven defensive prowess who’s not a rookie.

   I don’t think Vando is our answer I’m just saying let’s think about what we’re saying here. We can’t constantly beat him up because his offense sucks yet talk ourselves into thinking a rookie with a similar profile is somehow an upgrade

11. DK has NBA talent, he has just lost confidence in his shot. His other problem is defensive IQ. He has to be productive on offense to justify playing him. I would ask him to play in Summer League one last time. I also would start him in a couple of preseason games. Worst case scenario, you upgrade his trade value.

12. I would love for the Lakers to trade down into the early 30s, pick Zuby and gain another asset from trading down. Possibly another second round pick or a player from another team

13. They are saying they are happy to invest in reveas for 35 to 38 million? Not for rui for 20. I would rather pay 20 to rui and 18 to Ayo instead of paying AR 38.

14. Could the lakers S&T Rui and attach FRP for Kessler? Add nets as the third team to absorb vando and knecht in exchange for 2nd round pick (43rd pick)???

    *Lakers could sign kessler for 32-35 mil
    *Delay reaves to max him out later
