Lakers have been linked to Lu Dort of the Oklahoma City Thunder. Lakers News has said they have reached out to the Thunder about the possibility of acquiring Dort and a Lakers Trade could be an option.

The Lakers need to try to acquire KCP and Zach Edey from the Memphis Grizzlies. Trade Jarred Vanderbilt, Jake Laravia, and Dalton Knecht. He will be perfect at the 5.
If the Lakers follow this logic they will watch as the Hornets, Pistons, or Raptors get an All-Defense 1st team guy (arguably the best on ball defender in the NBA) who shot 37.7% the past 3 years (RS + Playoffs) for a few 2nds (a massive discount considering just 2 months ago he was perceived as worth an unprotected 1st by many like Windhorst/Vecenie). Stealing Dort, finding a real defensive C and lob threat, and retaining AR are the only hope the Lakers have of being real contenders. They won't be if they don't give Reddick real defensive options like Dort.

You scream we need 2 way players but you want dort? Dort cant put the ball on the floor and teams will leave him open at times. Did you not see him in this past playoffs? He was unplayable at crucial points. We need 2 way guys that can pass, dribble , shoot i.e knicks, spurs, okc. Stop wasting our time with this trash prospect
