2. is trey murphy really that much of an upgrade over nesmith or nembhard? i gets he’s nice but nesmith and 2-3 firsts seems like alot. i’m also scared of “stars” on bad teams because their stats can be inflated.

4. I'm not impressed by players who put up numbers on bad teams. I trust the law firm of Nembhard & Nesmith.

5. I cant trade Nesmith or Nemhard…Both play hard and have room to grow…Nesmith plays so hard…Better defender…rebounding…intangibles…Murphy is just a scorer… Nemhard shuts down Brunson…Keep our guys

6. I'd hate to see Jarace Walker go, but if the Pacers can get an early 2nd round pick for him or more ideally Ben Sheppard. It could give the Pacers a bunch of flexibility by increasing the mid-level exception and getting a guy they want in the second round. Which maybe also makes any future trade easier.

7. The Pelicans AREN’T going to trade a star player/starter for Walker and Sheppard.

   To get a starter, you have to trade a starter.

   The only way we got Zubac, was to trade a GOOD player..ie, Mathurin.

   They are going to HAVE to trade Nesmith, if they want Murphy.

8. Trey looked awful a few years ago in the playoffs getting swept by OKC Nesmith has already proven himself in the playoffs unlike Murphy

9. trade into the draft & get Isaiah evans. the team just needs scorers off the bench,

11. As Pacers fans, can we PLEASE stop pitching for Giannis? I truly DGAF the positive impact he could have on our team; he's a prima donna, and has a bad history with us as a team, and as fans. I don't think he and Pascal would get along in co-veteran roles with Tyrese as captain. And though the Draft is in my top 3 NBA events, I'm completely disenchanted with us not having a single pick. I know we'll likely make a move ON draft night, DURING the draft, but I've lost my all my enthusiasm to watch. Kind of a bummer, but hopefully the FA/trade dam breaks and the next 48hrs are actually exciting.

12. I don't see the Indiana Pacers pulling the trigger on this trade.

13. The money works for Neismith + Jarace/TJ and throw in the 2031 first that we offered up for Zubac and I think the Pels strongly consider it. I really like the idea of running back the squad that took us to the finals with Zubac but I do think Trey offers more as an overall player than what we'd lose by Neismith leaving. Ty, Nemby, Murphy, Siakam, & Zubac might be the best starting 5 in the NBA next season if that scenario should come to fruition.

14. The only player's can be Jarace and TJ if we are going to get better. If it has to be Nesmith, or Obi it's a no and I'd much rather have Ayo Dosunmu. I look at it like this. Hali is going to need help this season. Any playing time Nembhard can give us as the PG would be helpful and sliding Ayo Dosunmu into the SG would make us dangerous in the east. Having Ayo Dosunmu would help us to contend IMMEDIATELY. Even with Hali being 70% for the majority of this coming season. If eventually you have to consider moving Nembhard, or Nesmith back and forth to the bench a bit more to give Ayo Dosunmu burn in the 1st unit. We would be better for it. But you would have to send out McConnell who will be 36 by 27-28 when Hali is fully back to himself realistically. I'd hate to trade TJ and I doubt it even happens. But if you could get one of those guy's with TJ and Jarace you do it. You tell TJ we love you bro. Come back once that contract is over. I'd love to resign you. Have you retire here and then bring you onto the staff. But I know it's not likely. The Wolves have been trying to sign Ayo and not successful because for cap reasons.. but we'd have to make the bold move of clearing space to get him. The 18 to 20ish mil contracts are perfect for our team and that's what he's expected to get. He will likely get closer to 25 somewhere else imo. That makes him a little expensive.. but you could still do it and make any other moves after. I doubt he's on the T-Wolves unless they make a trade. I would have also liked Collin Gillespie if we moved McConnell or not too. But he wanted to stay with the Suns in 12 mil… perfect contract too.
