The Giannis Trade FINALLY Happened

1. One note for this offseason: as you can tell with this video I didn’t get it out immediately after the trade. It takes me hours to make these 20+ minute videos so I didn’t think it would be a good idea to post this at like 3 AM ET – and I am putting more of a focus on getting the “best” video out rather than the “first” video out. I’d rather take the time to put together 20+ minutes on breaking news rather than rush out a shorter version. 11. Milwaukee got all they could and burned down the Boston locker room along the way. It’s an A (graded on a curve because no one was willing to offer a legitimately good package for Giannis). The Bucks don’t need a star player, they need picks and to lose games for the next 5 years. Brown was too good for a rebuild

23. I see everyone saying it's a bad deal for the bucks, but getting a 20 ppg player + a 17 ppg player plus a few shooters and 3 lotery pickks seems more than fair. A great deal even. the bucks were not going there with giannis alone. now they have more debth and still draft capital.
    they basically will be probably a bit better than with giannis. people will play more games and they aren't horrible. I think people will see it next year. losing an mvp is always a problem! That being said, this looks like a win win scenario

24. Im a heat fan. This is going to be DISASTEROUS for us. We traded all our future picks (weve been delaying beinf bad forever) we lost all our good young players, and if Giannis misses 20 ganes to an injury we might be a playin team. Hes 31, injury prone with a style of play that doesnt age as well as shooting, this has the potential to cripple the heat for a decade. And you gave it an A+ im saving this video for the future

30. If the Bucks can reroute Herro for more picks idk how in the grand scheme its not closer to an A than a C. Jaime Jaquez is just a bonafide good NBA player while Jakučionis has quality starter potential and Ware just genuinely has all star potential while those 2031 and 2033 Miami picks might end up being insanely valuable since the picks will coincide with Giannis's age 36/38 seasons and the new lottery rules reward the middle of the pack teams so having those picks just is more valuable in todays NBA.
