2. Even if they would've gotten a center like cenac or veesar, it wouldn't guarantee that they would be useful this upcoming season. I personally love the fact Lakers choose TALENT over NEED. We can get a proven center in a trade or free agency. This was a move for a player that can be impactful in the future.
