16. The new president had zero to do with this draft selection! The organization had already planned their board out months in advance. Jamir Nelson and crew chose philon. Jamir probably has a thing for undersized guards because he was one.

18. Maybe they’ll sign 1-2 players who went undrafted and act surprised they didn’t need to buy into the 2nd round to get them. This move feels familiar though. Or maybe no one wanted to deal with the Sixers

19. The North Carolina big man agent was telling teams not to draft him with their second-round pick, which is why he dropped so low. Apparently, he had an agreement in place with the Hawks. You can't blame the Sixers there.

23. Sixers still doing the same old things. We were told that they would be aggressive by Gansey but they weren't. They have enough future #2 picks to afford move up and they didn't. They will try to sell this same old approach of playing again with this core and have the same or worse results. And wouldn't be surprised if Maxey and his agent request a trade after this season. They got lucky with Philon but they addressed no needs in the front court, that's disappointing….. They don't have money for free agents really so a zero there, oh well.
