6. Based on recent trade rumors, they could reset the roster for the future. Brown to Cavs for Evan Mobley, Dennis Schroeder (salary match) and a first round pick. Derrick White Wolves for Naz Reid and Donte Divencinzo.

   Starting 5: Pritchard, DiVincenzo, Mobley, Reid, and Tatum

   Mobley is an elite defender and Reid is very good.

   Bench: Schroeder, Scheierman, Walsh, Queta, Gonzalez, Garza.

   They get younger and address positions of need.

17. I hope that Jaylen Brown gets the hell out of Boston. The level of disrespect is of the charts. Jaylen is not just a top level player, He is a high character guy , something that I thought the Celtics valued, but apparently not.

18. The media keeps pushing this narrative that Jaylen should feel betrayed and it's lazy. Think about it for a second.

    The risk-averse move was to trade Jaylen LAST offseason at peak value, before the league saw him try to carry a team and fail. That's what front offices do with guys they don't believe in. You sell high on the uncertainty and get out clean. But what did Stevens do? The opposite. He handed him the keys. Bet the whole season on him. Fast forward – 28.7 / 6.9 / 5.1, All-NBA, top 6 in MVP voting. Stevens cashed in on the back-the-guy bet and Jaylen's value went UP, not down. That alone should tell Jaylen from the jump that this team values him. Come on now.

    Now be real about what Stevens and Jaylen are actually talking about behind closed doors. This roster as constructed is NOT winning a chip. Jaylen knows that. They need a dominant big teams have to gameplan for – that's a non-negotiable ingredient in the formula and they don't have it. Under this CBA, with two supermaxes eating ~35% of the cap each, the only way to get that big is to move one of the two. And the numbers on Tatum's gravity, playmaking, and on/off make him the one you can't move. That's not a value judgment on Jaylen – that's just the math. The dude went through a Harvard business program. You really think he can't read a spreadsheet?

    Here's the part everybody's missing: being the centerpiece of a Giannis offer is the HIGHEST compliment a front office can pay you. Role players don't headline Giannis trades. Stars do. The ego reads it as rejection. The intellect reads it as confirmation.

    The disgruntled story is media manufacturing content because peace doesn't sell ads. Jaylen's gonna play his ass off whether he stays or goes. Watch.

20. 15:48 Crazy that as I was watching this, LeMelo Ball just got traded to the TWolves. Hornets got back Naz Reid and a treasure-trove of picks. I think this bodes well for a potential return on a JB trade if it does in fact happen, since Melo got THAT much for the Hornets. Curious to know your thoughts on this for your next episode.

    With all that said, it would be sad to see JB go if it does indeed happen. I’m just not ready to see him no longer being a Celtic. 😢

21. John, I respect your opinion and level headed attitude but to suggest that Brad wants JT to be the clear number one option by trading for Giannis is so far off base! The guy who allegedly makes his teammates wait for him to show up for flights?? JB has been nothing but an exceptional talent and true professional for the Celtics, please stop feeding the frenzy to discredit his impact

25. Here's the thing, if they were smart, they would use Tatum a bit more like a PG and let Jaylen carry more of the load on offense getting to the rim. I think Tatum does too much as far as rebounding and ball handling to keep trying to carry as much of the scoring load as he does. Jaylen should be the leading score but that doesn't mean he's the more important player. Quite honestly, I enjoyed watching Jaylen play without him more than with him.

27. gotta think that they saw something when working out Dillon Mitchell they thought they could work out through their developmental program, only time will tell…. I feel like the JB situation is as clear as mud, but no one is paying me for my opinion – if Jaylen is going to be traded I feel like maybe they can get 1 or 2 good players of need back and maybe 1 or 2 good picks (pipe dream?) – and while I'd be sad to see him go, it would be cool for him to be the main man somewhere and I be happy for him for that….
