  1. This lets ant stay fresh without having to have ball handling duties, and lamelo can play off ball when ant does want to be on ball. It makes the attack more varied and when ant takes a breather lamelo will keep the team functioning. If ant needs to rest his knees the team doesn’t collapse. This is a smart move for a young player with upside with a palatable contract that fits the timeline of their best player. No brainer.

  2. This feels like one of these awful trades that GMs used to do in the 80s that made absolutely no sense.I don’t care if something else is coming like Brou suggested, this is an insane trade for the Wolves

  3. I mean the upside is there, but losing Naz Reid definitely hurts them. A trade for a player like Lamelo is either gonna go really good or really bad. I mean Lamelo has gotten better at being a floor general this past season, but his lack of two point scoring and defense is a really big problem+The fact that he’s injury prone. Who knows though. Hopefully this move works out for the Wolves as Lamelo is basically what they need in terms of a ball handler and a PG.

  4. You get another shot creator that can handle the rock. This will take doubles off of Ant and every post player is gonna feast in the pick and roll. You're going to have to have at least 3 great perimeter defenders in the game against the Timberwolves this year to slow down their offense.

  5. Lamelo does not give a fck about basketball. He’s more worried about which red lights he wants to run and what new garbage tattoo he wants to

  6. Timberwolves needs a big scoring center. Need more offense FROM A BIG clogging up the center! Ridiculous.
Maybe Lamely can score while Ant on break

  7. In Minnesota’s defense, they’ve tried to get Giannis this year and KD last year. Still, losing Naz Reid is tough. Plus Lamelo is an extremely unserious person and player 😂😂 but I hope Ant’s desire to win + his drive will help Lamelo lock in

  8. So Ant playing against tilted floors all year you dont understand? Melo is the perfect fit. He can draw two, collapse defenses, and distribute at an elite level to Ant, Ayo, Jaden and Terrance Shannon who are all lethal attacking close outs. What dont you get.
