The New York Knicks downfall is gonna be a center all the years the draft became they never purchased a center. They never got a son that they bypass it. They bypass it and if Mitch Robinson leaves that’s gonna be the New York Knicks downfall all these years all these drafts each year they bypass the center they could’ve got a center this year last year the year before last and at the end it’s gonna bite them. They’re gonna pay the price they going to pay the price they should’ve got us sent in the draft. They didn’t do this and if Mitchell Robinson leave the New York Knicks pay the price for not doing this all these draft picks not even one time all these years they could’ve got sent it to replacement Robinson, but they decided to stick to him. Mitch could be a starting center with a team that doesn't need him to score. He can be a Rodman or a Ben Wallace type guy because he is an excellent rebounder, especially on the offensive end and an excellent defensive player like them & we know what they did as starters. Da Worm won 5 & Ben won 1. On a team with g8 offensive players, Mich could start. The Knicks should go in the second apron to maintain the team. Leon is covering for Dolan. Do it for a few years. Don't give up before you've begun to fight. 11 needs to tell Dolan don't give up because we never did. Dolan constantly grabs defeat from the jaws of victory & he's doing it again! Take the win man! I think if anything they should trade Shamet and try to hold on to Mitch. We need protection inside the paint and an elite rebounder if we are to win back to back championships
We don't have to lose Mitch. It's bad business to give up on a formula that works. Ride it until it don't work. The problem is Dolan never earned nothing. He's not a businessman. His dad was. He had Cablevision handed to him, so he has no vision, which is why the gov needs to force the rich to give their money away or tax it. Make the next gen earn their own money. Make them use their gifts, instead of being given everything. When they are, they don't know how to do nothing like Dolan, but they act like they're God, but they not even good, smart people. The problem with those teams offering Mitchell Robinson, a starting center contract that is competitive is his inability to stay on the court. When healthy he is a beast, but you can't start him every game….we all know that he needs days off. I feel like Robinson's most value is coming off the bench and he loses that value as a full time starter. I would like to see the Knicks get a defensive Center/Rebounder in his place that is sort of a journeyman….someone who can fill the gap if KAT goes on a short IL Stint with his bad knees that have plagued him the past 2 or so years. I would get a center that can shoot free throws and is not a prime scorer…I don't think they need a backup center who can shoot or score a ton of points…Again, get a guy who can fill those minutes and perhaps get some rebounds. I am thinking of a guy like an Andre Drummond…I know…he is a far step down to Robinson…but Drummond can shoot free throws, so their is that improvement.

This is a real shame. Mitchell Robinson has been the best player off the bench probably in the history of the team. His character, heart and style is the essence of how the 69-70 Knicks won their first championship. That is the brilliance of this team, they play with the same character and attitude of what was until this year the greatest Knickerbockers team in history. They play together without selfishness. Unlike many of the leading NBA teams, they do not look to cheat. You may replace the talent, but it will be very difficult to replace the very special connection to his teammates.
