6. Morey left the Sixers in purgatory when he signed George and extended Embiid for no reason. The Sixers bench will consist mostly of G League players and UDFAs.

7. PG and Joel are albatrosses and this roster will be dragged down by them until they are off of it.
   Trading them will cost future assets that will extend the pain even longer!
   Morey did a number on this franchise!

11. I'm a little confused as to why they didn't trade into the 2nd round & pick up one of the many talented bigs who were available.

    It doesn't take much to purchase a 2nd round pick , typically cash or a future 2nd or two.

    Not impressed by the decision to do nothing , theyve still not even signed any undrafted guys like the rest of teams have.

    Not impressed , they should've been super proactive , get a guy like vessar or that center that led the NCAA in blks last year that Detroit got on the cheap.

    EDIT : I also wanted to add Reed has now developed into a very efficient starting level big , which we basically just just walk because when they extended him they gave him far too much money at that point at 8 mill per season.

    Had they signed him to a 3 year 12 mill total , he'd still be here at 4 mill per.

15. I was just saying that’s why I wasn’t a big fan of the pick. While we finally have a true backup point guard now, we’re still the worst rebounding team in the league. Especially
    when Embiid is on the floor because he doesn’t jump or show great effort going after rebounds. Rebounding is still one of our biggest weaknesses, and this pick didn’t address that at all.

16. Not a fan, need rebounding & a defensive athletic wing who can switch off on D & not get totally cooked

17. Of course they're gonna get more size, they have the full mid level non tax payer at their disposal n the bi annual or whatever it's called… they'll make a move in free agency or trade market

18. Exactly RB we need a 6 10 power forward and a 7-foot center
