  4. I think you were off by a few months when Lively had his surgery.

    Dallas Mavericks center Dereck Lively II underwent successful surgery on his right foot on Sunday, December 21, 2025. The procedure was performed by Dr. James Calder at the Fortius Clinic in London.

    So actually over six months ago.

  8. Why is this even a question? Im extending Lively the second FA starts, Im not wondering the desert looking for another big man and Lively is a key piece to the future of the Mavericks, the reason people are so down on him is because of Nico Harrison forcing him to come back early from his injury to prove that his "vision" was the right one and had those misdiagnoses all season long last year

    To me you sign this dude ASAP and you lock him up on day one of FA

  9. No. We are so tired of guys who can't stay off the trainer's table. Bagley and Cisse' are hella important to this team imho. I don't think we should deal Gaff at this time either.

  13. A lot of you guys legit have no idea what you’re talking about. Livelys injuries have not been lingering, they’ve been legit injuries. A broke nose and a foot, he doesnt brake his nose he’s playing 70 easily. His foot cost him two seasons because he was told by the staff he was clear when he clearly wasn’t healthy. Letting him go when he’s only had one legit injury would be literally insane

  14. see what happens by the deadline. I hope he is healthy and plays well, if so thats huge, if not that might be the biggest disappointment since you know when.

  18. You can just put some injury clause in the contract just like with Zion. This can't be another Brunson case if Lively recovers. Lively is worth betting on.
