  1. The fact that Giannis picked Adrian Griffin and they were 1st in the East and Giannis ended up getting him fired is absolutely insane. Can't fuck with him no more, that trade is dumb by Miami smh

  2. If the idiot had Nikola Jokic's demeanor, Giannis is still a Buck and the team are probably still in contention, but he had to threaten the team every year and sign off on all decisions, and when it came time to finally use his voice for good and fire Doc Rivers prior to last season, he kept silent because he already fucked it up with hiring Adrian Griffin. If he had simply demanded out, I'd have said cool thanks for the chip, wish you the best, but we ruined our future for this asshole just for him to run after 1 losing season in which he missed nearly 50 games and had a HC no one listened to

  3. All Giannis had to do was let the Bucks take a gap year…Dame would have opted out anyway, and we could have used a top pick on one of the tier 1 guards to pair with Rollins or Aday Mara to pair in the frontcourt with Giannis. We would have the space to go after guys like Peyton Watson or Tari Eason in FA in addition to other pieces. Could have traded Kuzma's expiring and BP along with a FRP for another wing upgrade. And he didn't even pick the destination that gives him the best chance at another ring. Just nice weather and cuz Bam is a friend of his. He's a bullheaded child who needs to be coddled

  4. Miami is so desperate. Love Giannis but he’s not winning anything down in Miami. He never ran anything in Milwaukee. The FO constantly made moves that he did not like. Jrue, Khris, coach Bud, Coach Griffin, Dame, Turner, etc. But I guarantee he’ll be back in Milwaukee after one contract fulfillment with Miami. He’ll extend one time with Miami and that’ll be it. He likes Miami but he LOVES Milwaukee! It’ll just take Mil a few seasons to build a good team back up and he’ll make his return home. Guaranteed!!

  5. Holy sh*t that is a huge haul for a player that’s pretty close to being past his prime. The heat traded away all there shooters for a guy that can only dunk, someone’s driving drunk at the wheel over in Miami.

  6. The responsibility always falls on ownership.

The star player can ask for whatever he wants. It’s up to management to analyze all of the options to make a good recommendation but ownership signs off on big decisions.

Any business owner unwilling to take responsibility for business outcomes doesn’t deserve success.

  7. I think this was one of the most evenly beneficial trades in recent history. Giannis walking away next year was going to decimate the Bucks for the foreseeable future; meanwhile, Miami got one of the top 3 players of this era and got to keep Bam Adebeyo. Will the Heat be able to replace the lost outside shooting? Maybe-maybe not, but it was worth the risk. This trade was a true win-win.

  8. I'll tell you exaclty why Jaylen Brown wants out and it's not exactly personal between him and JT per se. Instead it's the head coach's insistence on forcing the ball to JT in crucial moments, and Mazulla's obsession with the 3 point shot over EVERYTHING else which too often leads to bombs being tossed up early in the shot clock and before the offense is set. This type of flagrant stupidity is so far from "Celtic Basketball" that it shocks me no one in Bosten sees it! So for starters on whyJalen wants out, I think he'd agree with me when I say, Mazulla and this team will never get a whiff of another championship.

By the way, it's not just JB that's been affected by Mazulla's approach. I've seen unmistakable signs of frustration watching Derrik White inbounding the ball to JT in late game situations. White has proven himself a clutch shooter who should be in the mix in any late game scenarios, but on this team you'll see him inbound to Tatum and mostly watch while JT gets swarmed by thre or four opponents and the clock runs out

I blame Mazulla more than Tatum because I think Tatum is a nice kid who would thrive with some decent coaching. Instead he's being coddled and encouraged to play what amounts to 'Every man for himself, hero ball', which SUCKS to have to watch and is NOT a winning formula. As things stand, we're destined to watch this team clang their way to early playoff exits for the next five years.

There's a VERY OLD idea, but it works…and It's rarely Failed. Not to mention It was proposed repeatedly by people like the great Red Auerbach and Bob Ryan in their respective hay days. It is simply this: When your shots are not falling take the ball to the hoop! Force contact, get the foul, shake things up and change the chemistry out there. If nothing else you will interrupt the flow of a game that's not going your way. On offense KEEP the BALL MOVING and FIND THE OPEN MAN!!!

But this Celtics team is programmed to keep taking 3s and, when the game is on the line, find Jason Tatum, who always is and forever will be triple teamed. Like I said, Jason is a good kid and a very skilled player, but he's no Larry Bird. Not by any stretch. He's not going to recognize the trip coverage and find an open man. He's programmed to shoot and that's what he does every time.

To his credit, Brown has recognized this. There's no indication that anyone else has, although I know the players from Big Three v1 and v2 must have but are forbidden to speak out for fear of being banned from the Green kingdom like Kendrick Perkins was last year for his accurate assessment of Joe Mazulla when he essentially called him a bird brain.
