Trade is probably off now that lamelo and miles bridges both got traded. And raptors look like they got eyes on kawhi return
I would do the Raptors trade if they included Allen Graves. I think that's worth taking on Poeltl's contract. Its not a good contract, but it isn't as bad as Sabonis' or Zach LaVine's from a few years ago. Peoltl could still help as a backup Center, and R.J. is an expiring. These are the type's of trades the Kings should be looking to utilize their cap space for; taking on bad contracts and acquiring talented prospects (or like you said, draft capital). If we do this for a few seasons, we can acquire a lot of young players without ever having to risk making a bad FA signing (i.e. Schroeder). I hope Perry considers these types of trades instead.

You think maybe kings do a buy out with Lavine where he only takes 35m and then gets the rest of his money with an MLE deal to some team? Rich Paul be pulling a lot of strings
My ideal offseason this season:
Free Agents pickups: Mitchell Robinson, Rui Hachimura, TarI Eason, Collin Sexton
Trades: Domantis Sabonis to the Celtics for Jaylen Brown. Malik Monk and Keegan Murray to the Pacers for Andrew Nembhard and Obi Toppin.
The Sabonis trade would depend on the draft compensation for me as the players involved don’t really get me excited, but I probably over value him.
I say Ride out Demar and Lavine contract or atleast Lavine since it comes off the books after the season and wave Demar stretch that 10 mil over 3 years run Acuff,Lavine,Murray, Sabonis and Max in the starting line up
I love how we would get rid of a reliable big man that would help Acuff play off ball more. I would love to see Acuff non stop iso on every possession because no one else can pass the ball or draw a double team…
The Kings should keep Precious Achua, he is very good as power or small forwards! Release or let Hunter!
Don’t just get rid of Sabonis for nothing or garbage bench players. Keep him and see what happens with Acuff at the helm.

The problem is if you trade both Sabonis and LaVine and don’t get much back and you say you want Clifford and Max to start and play major minutes this team will probably be in the bottom three which is bad with the new lottery rules. You have terrible odds of getting a good draft if you’re in the bottom three going forward.
Not a chance Detroit signs LaVine for the amount that you shared. Not a chance they go four years either.
Sabonis to Charlotte or Golden State would be terrible trades for the Kings – the Atlanta trade or Toronto would be better.
It’s already been reported that Achiuwa will be coming back.
This team would be trash you gotta slow down this a new nba where tanking don’t get you good picks maybe one trade but you want the team to be nothing????? 😂😂😂
Duncan Robinson is too good of player just to waive.
If the goal is to accumulate draft picks to build through the draft, you have to be very careful not to finish in the bottom three. Many of the moves that you suggest might relegate Kings to the bottom 3 which would be counterproductive.
My ideal Kings offseason:
Waive Demar
Trade Sabonis to the hawks for Risacher and Kuminga (Finally get length and wing depth)
Hopefully Zach Lavine is willing to do a sign and trade
Resign Precious Achiwa and Westbrook
Btw Josh Green got traded to the timberwolves with Lamelo
Your dream scenario gets us relegated. That is a bottom 3 team for sure.
The kings havent had an identity since 2002 lol..hopefully within 2 seasons we will have one, i look forward to watching these young guys develop, especially Raynauld, he is my favorite young player right now
I don't really care for kuminga, but I'd be down to gamble on Risacher. He's only 21 and both him and Max would unlock a francais connexion!
The Kings will get under the tax just by waive and stretching DeRozen
