LATEST RUMORS – Kessler to Lakers? Nurkic gone? Trade coming?

The Utah Jazz are still figuring out the Walker Kessler situation and need to find out how to get Kessler signed sooner than later cause he may be joining the Lakers if they’re not careful. The Lakers can give Kessler an offer that could really throw a wrench in things.

  1. The max another team can sign Kessler for is 4 years at 178. That is 44.5 million a year. If that is what he gets you have to try a sign and trade or let him walk. Kessler is not worth over 30, let alone 40.

  2. I always look forward to your show. Even if there is not much going on and it’s short you bring an excitement and enthusiasm that is just great for us Jazz fans! Thanks!

  3. My man there is absolutely no way the lakers are trying to sign Walker to a 50 mil the dude isn't even close to a max offer player when he hasn't even been a top 30 player. The Jazz will either land Walker around the 30-35 mil or they will do a sign and trade with the interested party

  4. I dont know why 2 years would be that bad. If kessler does great, trade him for max value after one year. If he does poor, then its only two more years instead of 3. Its not great but not horrible

  5. Okay don't buy into the hype because Walker Kessler isn't getting more than he's already been offered everyone knows it except for his delusional team because even if let's say LeBron James wanted a new Max contract to go to the Warriors guess what they have to do is sign in trade some kind so all these scenarios are just pointless

  6. Ihart just signed for 25mil. I think that Utah will settle with Kessler for 30 give or take. They will not match a 50mil offer nor will anyone give it to Walker.

  7. I don’t think anyone offers Kessler $50 million type of money. I think that type of worry is unwarranted. He isn’t that good. And he has never shown he can be that good. Lakers would be out of their minds if they did.

  8. Walker Kessler’s agent is his own brother Houston. It has long been known that Houston has an outsized opinion of Walker’s worth (which is understandable considering it's his brother). Everyone thinks Jazz’s offer is more than fair, some even say it’s way too high. Let’s just hope that Mark Walter’s new people in Lakers front office prevent Rob Polinka from doing something stupid.

  9. I thought he was injury prone but turned out it was a left shoulder injury that dated back to his college days (just never took care of it), and now it’s fixed for good. For a 7’2 big guy, his lower body has been quite durable (no significant foot, ankle, knee, hamstring or achilles calf problem). He’s a lob threat, a shot blocker and a rebounding machine. He’s smart, young, and can even shoot the 3’s. What more can we want? Rob needs to offer him a poison pill max contract, so Utah will not match. If we don’t get him, we might as well give up next season. Plz dont just run it back and add window dressing with a Robin Williams addition.

  10. let’s see. you are a big man, and have a chance to play with luka and reaves, or stay with a team with glaring need for a playmaker. there is a clear reason why kessler wants to leave and play for the lakers
