Does Luke Kennard completely change the Phoenix Suns’ roster?

Luke Kennard agreed to sign with the Phoenix Suns after the team dealt Grayson Allen and Royce O’Neale away in the Miles Bridges trade. Dan Bickley & Vince Marotta consider if the guard is an upgrade to the roster.

  1. Adding him AND Bridges gives us TWO elements we didn’t have last year.. Kennard is going to FEAST in this system and gives us another strong defensive presence.

We’re building this roster so that during or rotation sets, we don’t have to choose if we want to sacrifice offense or defense – EVERYONE is an option and a pit bull on defense.

I think we pull up with one more move to solidify the PG spot.

  2. I mean he played with LeBron and Luka how many shots could he get there?
He can shoot all day long here, hoping that 3pt% stays where it was last year.

  3. This could be great. We have another three-point threat. Allen attacked the basket, but Kennard likely won't do that as often; he's more of a three-point specialist. Bridges can create his own shot at the 4, and if the defense collapses on him, he can kick it out to sharpshooters like Kennard. Kennard also plays hard, which is another plus.

  4. Are starting line up has no good three point shooters starters no PG. Two SG who don't shoot the three well they need to trade Green but this clown owner will not do it unless a Michigan State player comes available

  5. You did a future not long ago around Booker changing his number and being done with the point guard role, but now you are putting him as point guard? He ain't gonna be happy

  6. Obviously you don’t watch nba , Luke is not a one tool guy , you think he can only shoot threes that’s crazy cause you as in Arizona sports the biggest representation of Arizona sports would say he’s a one tool guy , he has a offensive bag and shoots over 90 percent from the line, who else shoots that high from free throw

  7. 9 year vet, 9 ppg. Sure, he can shoot, but does it matter when he only makes 3 shots a game? I think the book has already been written for old Lukie. Mini Royce O'Neal at best with semi decent handle

  8. Bro let's be real, Grayson Allen is better than Luke because of his playmaking and Bridges does not pass the ball or shoot well enough for the suns to have a functional offense in the r current roster

  9. Should Suns make a call to Portland for a PG ? Not sure who they trade ? only option seems to be Green ? But dont think we have seen what he can really do for the team !

  10. The NBA leaving Portland after leaving Seattle 20 years ago is outrageous. It's a reminder that sports owners mostly don't give a rip about fans and these communities that spend billions to subsidize sports.
