29. I’m actually glad we got all theee bugs with different skill sets . It gives us lively/gaff insurance, but it also gives us insane versatility, despite being front court heavy. We can play 2 athletes, athlete/bruiser, bruiser/shooter, 2 dribble, pass shoot bugs etc. If dusty is as genius as I think , I would not be shocked if we somehow make the playoffs . 34. I’m telling yall, Celtics AND Tatum will regret this. They’re banking on Tatum being able to replicate what brown did last year with salary dumps, with a team that’s made for him, even tho he just reinjured his Achilles. I don’t think Tatum will ever be the same again, ESPECIALLY without brown releasing the valve. I don’t think he gets many, if any awards from this point forward. I think Tatum gets exposed for being a faux aloha and being a complete let down now that all the weight is on his Achilles. And tbh, I truly believe this is all karma. When you go back and look at the Kai-Boston situation, kai was the scape goat. When Kai got injured and they went to ecf without him, the young boys rebelled. They felt they didn’t need Kai and Hayward. Rozier was in his contract year and wanted starting guard money , Tatum wanted it to be his team. Not saying Kai was perfect , but everything he did would get leaked to the media , or critiqued by the team. Kai wanted to stay, that’s why he made the famous announcement, but right after that Tatum and rozier kept applying pressure. They even went to the media and started talking about how Kai shouldn’t have said this, and he’s not a good leader, and THATS WHEN he left. I believe all of that played into why Tatum rushed back this year. He saw the same thing he did to Kai about to happen to him. The Celtics were supposed to be a lottery team and JB took salary dumps to 2nd in the east. To do that, mezulla changed the entire game plan. He changed from what won them finals, to a scheme that suited the current team better. When Tatum returned they instantly reverted back to bombing 3s despite not having the personnel to sustain that style. That’s why they flamed out in the playoffs. Their finals team had more than enough shooters so that when some were off , others stepped up so they never had an “off night”. They couldn’t do that with the salary dump roster , but they forced it anyway. They lost more games in the regular season, brown fell out the mvp conversation and the chemistry plummeted , all to make JT look good. Then they turn around and ship him off 2 months later. But they fucced themselves. Tatum is like Kd, he’s not a leader even tho he wants to be the face. Meanwhile they sent JB to their in conference rival with a loaded roster and room to make moves . Mark my words, JB is winning MVP, FMVP and bringing Philly their ring. Whether JB is number or 2, he will be the most important player on the floor, just like in Boston . In telling yall. They can act like JB is this troubled player with no value, but watch what happens when he becomes peak Kawhi of this generation , without the injury issues. Hell I’m predicting JB is in mvp talks by december and as long as everyone is healthy, they’ll also be top 4 in the league ,top2 in the east at that same time
