  1. Why we comparing just the #of picks swaps between Giannis and Kessler? Are we forgetting Giannis was traded for 1 all star and one good young player with potential?

  2. I don't care about LeBaby's stats! LeBaby has a (+/-) of -13.3 ppg! That means when LeBaby is on the floor, LA has a net LOST of 13.3 ppg!….

  3. I think you are being too harsh saying it is the "worst" trade in Lakers history. Lakers desperately needed a center in a FA class that was devoid of top talent centers. Kessler is the best you could get. Duren was not a realistic option considering he was a RFA and Detroit could match (Duren was just trying to up his deal terms with Detroit). So who else was there? Spend the cap space on a bunch of pseudo talented wings? Save the money, waste another year with Luka, and then hope a FA would come their way in a league where the CBA pretty much eliminates any realistic chance of getting a FA away from their existing teams? They needed a center….job number 1, and they got one. The picks they traded away is not anything Pelinka is going to care about because if this doesn't work this year, he's as good as gone when the Guggs really start to exert their influence. It becomes their problem. IF there are any owners willing to go way into the apron to field a winning team it will be them, and they are patient enough to build the right way. So let's see how this all turns out.

  4. Let's be real Kessler is not even close to Bridges talent and Bridges can score and defend on both ends. Lakers just over paid for a 9 and 9 big man that may not last a full NBA season.

  5. Bird and Magic must be scratching their heads by now! The two legendary players must be wondering what the hell their former franchises are thinking . . . if they're even thinking!!!!!

  6. I guess this is not a bad signing. They covered anything they need. Yes, it’s big loss for the 3 role players: Smart, Kennard, and Rui. They have a player to man the paint that is not scared in Kessler. They have signed Grimes to be that wing defender. What they lack last year is bench play and they signed Sexton for that. Don’t forget that they also have Cameron Carr and Adou Thiero to develop within the year.

  7. Lakers gave away way too much for Kessler. Were they making up for what we got for Luka? Doesn't make sense today. Hopefully it pans out, otherwise if it doesn't work out, rebuilding after Luka leaves… ugh! I'd hate to see that scenario.

  8. The Lakers will wander in the wilderness for ten years with no draft picks and will probably even win the draft lottery for someone else a few times.

  9. Drama mike is back with his horribly aging videos 😀 By what Mike is saying, Kessler is gonna turn out All defense, All Nba and all that 😀 Remember how was mike talking about OG going to Knicks or Dyson going to Atlanta. Fine wine ? Not really my guy. Drama Mike !

  10. Did you seriously say Lakers have "length on the wing"? 😂🤣 They currently have no starting level SF or PF that can play 2 way ball. Lakers are cooked. 🤣😂

  11. Why do you think LeBron and his senior citizens team got us out of the first round ? Exactly bcos we couldn’t pay younger players.
Now that he is gone our team is starting to look like they can compete with SAS , OKC and Denver . So who cares if he’s gone ! 😊
