Did the Phoenix Suns panic trade?

1. This doesn’t make sense to me personally, why would we need Brown?? We have Booker & Green ( which I hope we trade for Giddey or another need ); we needed a SF/PF like Bridges WAY more than another guard who is basically the same player as Booker.. I really hope we trade Green to add depth or balance to our roster but either way I think we’ve definitely upgraded our roster so far this offseason

2. No team can handle two massive contracts at one time. Book and Jaylen Brown with the apron rules? The day of the big 3 or the massive 2 is over.

3. First of all we didn't have 2 first round picks we didn't have the pick swaps and Jalen green and whatever else the Celtics have to actually want people act like the Celtics would just do whatever we want

4. I'm way happier having Bridges at the 4 then having 3 shooting guards in the starting lineup. Bridges is a baller and doesn't need the ball in his hands to be successful. Better fit short and long term. Not to mention WAY cheaper

9. I dont think Suns should be the team to pay 70 mil a year extension to Brown as much as I love the player. Let Philly deal with that. Thats why Boston moved on.

11. So wie ich das verstehe, muss man den Vertrag matchen. Brown verdient 180 Mio die nächsten 3 Jahre. Ein Green hätte nicht gereicht. Es ist gut wie die Suns aktuell handeln. Der X-Faktor wird Jordan Ott sein. Wird er so spielen wie letzte Saison oder wird sich etwas am Spiel ändern. Neulich habe ich einen tollen Fachbegriff gelernt: Facilitator. Der Ermöglicher. Kein richtiger Playmaker, sondern das Puzzlestück im Spiel, welches alles ermöglicht. Genau das verkörperte für mich Oso. Die beiden anderen Center Maluach und Williams agierten ähnlich wie beim Staffellauf. Sie gaben den Ball gerne top of the key am Perimeter an die schnellen Guards weiter. Für mich war das zu berechenbar. Ich hoffe, dass mit Bridges mehr Aktivität in Korbnähe möglich ist. Einfache Bankshots wie sie Tim Duncan ausführte, sind auch erfolgreich. Ich hoffe, dass Oso an seinen Wurf gearbeitet hat. Und deshalb wäre es für die Suns nicht verkehrt einen elitären Playmaker zu verpflichten. In meinen Augen würde das auch die Leistung von Gillespie verbessern. Letzte Saison konnte man überraschen. Man hat stets die Hälfte seiner Würfe vom Perimeter genommen und war immer wieder durch Verletzungen geplagt. Diese Saison muss man sein Spiel entwickeln, dass gegen die Spurs bestehen kann. Die Spurs haben zwar das NBA Finale verloren, führten aber zwei Drittel der gesamten Serie. Sie verzockten ihre Führungen. Harper war fantastisch. Fox konnte kaum mithalten. Auf den Niveau will ich die Suns sehen. Dafür müssen viele Spieler ihre Passivität ablegen. Im letzten regulären Saisonspiel spielten die Suns gegen OKC und deren 3rd Unit inkl McCain. Bouyea, Brea, Fleming, Maluach und Dunn holten plötzlich 15 bis 27 Pts. Natürlicv hatten sie häufiger den Ball. Aber genau das ist doch die Kunst. Ein Harper war auch nur Bankspieler und trotzdem bester Mann des Teams. Dann ist es auch egal, ob Booker seine 30 Pts holt oder nur 12. Zurück zu Brown: Die 60 Mio Jahresgehalt plus Draftpicks hätte man nicht bieten können. Höchstens ein Deal mit Green, Royce, Allen. Kein Bridges. Keine Picks und ein Ja von den Celtics. 13. Going in on Jaylen Brown would have been a panic buy, I think the Bridges deal and Kennard deal are precise and methodical to improving areas of weakness and getting younger.

16. If the Suns finished 3rd in the 2016 Draft, they take Jaylen Brown but Suns finished 4th and took Dragan Bender, when Jamal Murray was still available, McD was horrible
