DIVIDED: The Suns Should NOT Be Done Making Moves After Acquiring Miles Bridges And Luke Kennard
Phoenix Suns shake up their roster by trading for Miles Bridges, igniting debate over fit, value, and team culture. Is owner Matt Ishbia too involved in basketball decisions, and did the Suns give up too much—especially the 2033 first-round pick—for this move?
Host Benjamin Garcia and Brendan Kleen scrutinize Bridges’ role at power forward, the lingering size and shooting concerns, and how the loss of Royce O’Neale and Grayson Allen impacts chemistry. The conversation explores Jalen Green’s uncertain future, Dylan Brooks’ fit, and the lack of playmaking around Devin Booker. With Western Conference power dynamics shifting, the Suns’ status as a true contender is in question. Can Phoenix’s incomplete roster compete with the conference’s elite, or will further trades be necessary to optimize Devin Booker’s championship window?

What trade package would be required to acquire Josh Giddy in exchange for Jalen Green ?
Green can't be on the team.
Suns were really good with Mark Williams in the lineup and they got worse with Oso in the starting lineup.
Trade Green for dejonte Murray
Bro you are so negative. Most of you were WRONG last year about the Durant trade and your wrong about this one. I dont care about picks 7 years out.
I don't like trading our pick, i was a fan of doing nothing. 1. We are not winning a chip and thats the goal. I would like to see of have some continuity, that is so important. Its not just with players but coaches too. We finally gave a decent coach and the same coach 3 years in a row. I'm a fan of continuity, especially in basketball. ,you need to know each other, know what everyone is doing and where they're gonn i think this is just is more important
You don’t build a good team through trades! You build a good team through the draft!!! I think it’s wrong of suns to not play Fleming and Maluach more and develop them!!! Dunn too needs to play
Why would anyone believe Green is a tradable asset right now? He was a salary dump for Houston and then had a bad / injuried year so …
Bro I try to listen and you cover the Suns daily but its like you dont do any homework on these players.
This team spiraling
Brendon Kleeeeeeeeeeeeeeen
JALEN GREEN FOR JRUE HOLIDAY PLEASE
The duo of bad value and bad fit for a trade is ROUGH
Look, the Suns need a competitive roster on offense, defense, and rebounding. What sucks is that today's NBA you have a bunch of 3 point shooting rather you make the shots or not. Even the Center position is shooting 3's. Why are people trippin' over a 2033 pick? Really? 7 years from now? We don't even know if we're still going to be here in 2033. I'm serious. The Suns are better. I wish they had a real starting PG. Y'all act like wings and bigs grow on trees with talent. They don't. If Maluach is better and stronger cool. If Osa comes back stronger and develop a shot or 2 and improve in free throw percentage cool. If Dunn improves rather than taking a step down, that would be great. 👍🏾 Dunn took a step down from this past season. There's nothing wrong with what Ishba is doing. Let's Go Suns. 💜🖤🧡🏀🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Jalen KLEEN is BACK.
Wow! You guys are smarter than Bryan Gregory and Matt Ishbia. I wonder why you 2 are not billionaires or at least the GM of a professional sports team? Dumb and dumber is more like it. 🤡🤡
Last time I'll say it. I really wanted the Sun's to let Fleming, Man Man, Oso, Dunn, and Brea to rock out. High character individuals and continuity, is what the Suns were preaching, and to me, they went back on that, while adding players that actively hinder continuity and the development of the younger players. The G league and watching veterans play can only develop players so much. The Suns aren't competing for a championship for the next 2-3 years anyway. Literally no reason to not play them.
Since we don't have enough rotational minutes to go around right now as is, the only trade worth doing is packaging multiple players in exchange for one good one. That way it opens up minutes for players.
Good to see you Brendon! I hope to see you on more. It'd be great if you came back. Ben is good but he's no Brendon kleen!
People are way to focused on a championship. We aren't doing much until the dead money is off and we can deal like most teams.
3 or 4 promising rookies.
I'm optimistic for the future. Maybe it's Brandon Kleen affecting me…😂
This is the most pessimistic podcast of any team! I bet the Celtics is more positive and they just pulled a Luka 2.0
awesome show as usual guys!
Suns have the worst home town media I’ve ever witnessed. Last year these same guys were saying we’d win 15 games and with 4 G League players in rotation they won 45 games. Like what are y’all even saying
These guys are a joke the Phoenix Suns are awesome is there going to be a great team they're going to help each other and they're going to pass the ball
yay another Miles Bridges stream…….going to be interesting if he plays well and agree totally if Bridges was 6ft10 6ft11 I would be a little happier. We just don't seem to want to trade for people with height. Was a issue for most of last season and looks like will be this season as well – which will be frustrating…..we didn't get bigger probably more physical with Koa and Bridges. I hope that Bridges buys into the team philosophy and is looking forward to a new fresh start. In the end its a 1 year rental and if it doesn't work they can trade him as an asset – something people haven't really talked about. We have instant salary relief which we need if we going to extend Dillon and or Green and not go over 2nd apron? Trade him for a PG at the trade deadline if he plays well and has value ? Agree dont think the 2033 pick should have been included
I thought Kennard was going to resign with Lakers especially after Lebron leaving !
I see the trade as getting a asset they can move onto another team at later date while shaving some salary as well to potentially extend Dillon while staying under 2nd apron – I hope they keep Green and see what he can actually do for a full season before making a call. One thing that can be said is they have OPTIONS despite having the dead money which is affecting things sooner than I thoight !
No ones really talking about Koby Brea as a shooter or people forgetting about him ?
Ishbia is one of those guys who thinks he is smarter than everyone else we will never win a Title with him as owner we gave up just as much as philly did for Brown 😂 and Ball A position of need 😂 whatever I will just sit back and watch him at least trade for someone from Michigan st. Like Jarren Jackson
