– “When the most recent report surfaced, I reached out to people on all sides of the situation. I gathered that the Knicks should not be seen as a potential destination for James. The Knicks are very happy with the core of their roster coming off the 2026 NBA title. James is reportedly looking for happiness when choosing his next destination. The Warriors, Heat, Cavaliers and Sixers are reportedly among the teams with serious interest in James. What about the Knicks? Even if they had strong interest in James, wouldn’t it be a bit strange if LeBron chose to sign with a team that just won the NBA title? The narrative of winning again in Cleveland/Miami or playing with Steph Curry is much more appealing than playing in New York.   5. Im kind of upset . We well knicks had some chances through free agency and all. Drummond is good so welcome Andre. He is 32 so he still has it in him.

  9. He shoots over 60% from the line, can hit an open 3, and is a good rebounder. Gotta take what you can get when your owner wont let you go into the 2nd apron.

  12. Good sign because he's plays hard. Rebound & shoot the 3 okay. Just dont have Mitch athleticism. The best we can get at this time. & he's from NYC so that is going to motivate him.

  32. I grade it a “B”….Listen, Drummond definitely provides some of the talent needed after Mitchel Robinson left. He’s definitely a good pick up. But how you all could be excited about THIS, but take issue with Lebron James possibly signing on a VET MINIMUM really makes me look at some of you like a bunch of bug outs.

  37. Great, great value for the vet minimum. Top offensive rebounder and screener. Better at shooting free throws and less injury prone than Mitch. Also more well rounded offensively and better passer. Experienced and battle tested. We still need another defensive big to provide rim protection, though.

  40. People giving this trade As and Bs is lunatic behaviour. Hes literally a human pole able only to jump up and down lol… Hes probably the cheapest former all star they could get. Bro is washed beyond washing. Id rather have the Knicks make a Rodman 2.0 from Sochan….than having this dinosaur walk the court… Mitch was fast and agile.. why did they replace him with a giant turtle?? This is a D signing. Very desperate move.

  41. Slow center who is past his prime. Does not rebound like he use to. If he is camped under the basket he has a shot at the rebound, but he doesnt attack the rim anymore. Better free throw shooter than Mitch, but not by a lot. Not great at blocking shots right now. Tends to stay at the 3 point line and look to shoot. Plays about 19 mins a game which is about what we need from a back up. Still not sold on him but nothing we can do about it, but watch and see how it all plays out. Still need another center just in case.
