This Changes Everything For The San Antonio Spurs…

The Spurs drafted Jayden Quaintance and Tarris Reed Jr in the first round of the 2026 NBA Draft, then signed Tobias Harris to a 2-year deal, all to add depth in the frontcourt alongside Victor Wembanyama.

  1. …i think the spurs are going to try to make fox look good… so they can trade him by the trade deadline…i just don't see how he stays with the way harper played in the finals…and the spurs drafted another pg in jakobi gillispie…and he got signed to a regular contract…why do that if we already have three pg in castle Harper and fox…i think fox is going to get traded this coming season…

  2. What next to Charlotte Hornets after trading LaMelo Ball & Bridges you're next video Hoops Central 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀

  3. The Spurs should keep Fox for as long as they can afford Harper and Castle. There is no guarantee they are a no. 2 seed without Fox all season. Having these types of players is no joke.

  4. whilst I admire the defence of Fox, if the reason he was lacklustre in the FInals was injury, even though he didnt complain about it, why the hell was he starting?

  5. I beg to differ entirely. Kornet kept the team running when Wemby was injured. Regular season sure, yet he won a chip with Boston i the same roll. The problem is size on the court with him at the same time especially come playoffs when you're battling top tier teams night in night out.

  6. At Christmas time last year I said the only ones who could beat this spurs team was themselves and that’s exactly what happened. Got big leads in all the finals games and just couldn’t figure out how to finish

  7. I wonder what would happen if like, 4th quarter, close game, you just put all your biggest men on the floor, could you just massively outsize a team and out physically rebound etc the other teams? cause likeimagine having multiple 7'3'' + dudes on a team, most teams would play 1 at a time, but if you just all-in and had 5 of those types, whats the other teams gunna do? put in there 6'2'' ? there would be mismatches everywhere…. I've also wondered why not cherrypick more, if they then couldnt get into the paint because you have too many big tall bodies, they're forced to shoot, just cause its a 4v5 (cause 1 always cherry picks) then the other teams, even though they're wide open in a 4v5 lets say.. you wont nail 100% of the shots…. get rebound, throw it down, gauranteed bucket… it's a strat I've never seen anyone attempt before tbh, and i don't see why it wouldn't work, and if it worked so well… it'd become a meta identity for some teams…. but what do i know… im just a gamer trying to exploit strats that are off-meta….

  8. Fox aint getting traded if he does it probably be in the last year of his contract, and rite now i don't like the Harris signing what he's getting paid doesn't show on the court

  9. Just only Intro like Wemby in the side court, the rest will collapse. Bruh, did you watch the NBA or just pretending to be oneπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. They need center cause Wemby clay mostly outside of the zoneπŸ˜‚

  10. If somehow they convince fox to go 50/50 minutes with Harper that would be great, however it would risk Harper eclipsing Foxs box score regularly (which he did in the playoffs anyways with bench minutes, however yes Fox's ankle injury).

  11. The Spurs addressred real needs and fortified their rotation, for sure. Tobias Harris is a really good fit, and his game doesn't depend on athleticism all that much, so he should be able to maintain his current level somewhat. Reed gives the Spurs another option at the 5, which is great. At the very least, he can help keep Wemby and Kornet fresher by eating some regular season minutes. Quaintance is the ceiling-raiser: if he can contribute at all towards the end of the season, that would be awesome. More likely, he'll be a factor next season. When he and Wemby are both healthy, that'll cause some real problems for other teams to score. It's going to be awesome to root for them as a fan.

As for Fox, I think they have to carry him into next season. It'll be fascinating to see how Castle and Harper grow, and if one of them will be able to take on the full command of the offense. If so, I can see Fox being traded at the deadline. If not, Fox being there keeps the team's floor rather high.

Current ten-man rotation is as follows, as I see it: Fox, Castle, Vassell, Champagnie, Wemby, Harper, Kornet, Harris, KJ, and Bryant (hopefully, Carter leaps Keldon at some point; he's really talented defensively). Spurs could still use a veteran game manager and a movement shooter off the bench, but that's a nice rotation, for sure.

  12. Spurs plan for Fox
-Fox value build up before deadline
    -league injuries pile up
-teams reevaluating after exceeding or disappointing starts

Or they could restructure and bench his ass, he could be an all time 6 man if he wants to stay and win
