I really have a weird feeling of what the Clippers are doing.. Signing Rui, offering P Watson and pressuring the Nuggets.. I really think their grand plan is Jokic..They will prepare the team for Jok.
I was hoping for an increase in pace this season, maybe Rui can help with this defensively or running out on fast breaks but
Baba Miller excited me for his ability to bring the ball up rather than relying on the coaching staff's seemingly rigid "starter", "connector" and "finisher" roles for the players

I figured out our problem…. we are always 2 steps behind…. When Golden State went small we held on to DeAndre and Blake never developed a consistent 3. The rest of the league is getting bigger and we are signing Rui. We have 1 and a half centers!. We haven't had a back up guard since Lou. #fireLawrenceFrank

I mean, he not really giving you any ancillary production on the boards or forcing turnovers. It’s not a bad signing considering the position we’re in for the next couple of seasons, but definitely not a player that should be on the roster two years from now.
Ty Lue loves the 6'7 6'8 guys. Ty Lue is allergic to Anyone over 6'8. We have a glut of guards and small forwards. Softest starting lineup in the league. Where is our rebounding and defense? Who's starting?
Really cool to take another player away from LAL. Also, the Cavs lost the Harden trade. Clippers won.
Tbh I think Rui is better overall. Not only that we gotta remember we didn't get alot from Collins because he was always hurt. Rui in the playoffs when Luka went down he stepped up big time on both ends of the ball. He's shown when you take the big stars away he shows his true potential.
We still have a chance at Payton Watson and if we can pull that off you become a way better team especially Defensively. And then Brandon Ingram is actually a pretty good defender he got the reach of Kawhi and then has size. He's 6 ft 8.
The biggest problem is that our starting center is like 38 years old and is no where near as good as he used to be.
Our biggest problem last season was offense. Yeah the defense wasn't great but it was good enough to win but we often lost because we had too many games scoring 80 or 90 or just barely 100. So we would go 5 minutes without scoring that was the problem.
I wouldn't want to see DJJ go but if all you gotta do is give up 1 pick and DJJ to get Watson who is a rising star you absolutely make that trade. He's a little younger better shooter, better defender, better passer. DJJ is a really good player but his lack of a jump shot just like Chris Dunn has hurt us so many times against good defensive team that can guard 5 out.
