Been waiting for this drop. Watching now! I do have to brag a little. I mentioned a few weeks ago that KM might have value in a SnT and was largely dismissed.
I know these moves might not be sexy for the casual fan but, for those of us that are plugged in, they are amazing. These players will help. More to the point the way they were acquired is indicative of why it pays to have elite level talent in your FO. All of these mechanisms were used to absolutely max our DAL ability to improve this roster. If we're being honest, DAL has not been elite in the FO for almost 2 decades. This is how you operate in today's NBA and how you create a lasting, elite organization.

I just realized how bad the Caleb Martin contract is. We’d have him for another 2 seasons at over 10M a year.
If you aren't scouting globally for your roster, you're a dinosaur and it will catch up to you. This isn't 1985. Basketball has been a global obsession for over 30 years now. With the right moves this summer and health, DAL is going to be relevant, fun and playoff worthy next year

Why not make the Tarik deal a 3 year deal so they get his Bird Rights? If he comes over and explodes and becomes one of the best shooters in the league, its going to be Hell trying to keep him here when he hits the market with no protections in place. Now let's go use that TPE or at least a decent chunk to go get Mathurin and bring another young athletic explosive Guard to build off of and build depth at the Guard position, since every Wing/Big in the Entire League is already on this Roster. Outside of Kyrie, Mathurin would be the best Guard we would have on this Roster and it's not even close. Or try to swing a trade for Sharpe. Both are still in the same timeline as this whole youth movement. Perfect fits IMO…

Zero…0…turrible…I think without AD, ky, dliv, and all the injuries, the Mavs did very well… coach kidd & Riccardi did an excellent job…they playeda lot of close games that came down to the last possessions…I wanted to see AD, Copp, & Ky play together!!!…maybe the trade of AD could've got done in the off-season but I don't know all the confusing cap numbers…I think we lost so many close games that ky would've closed out…I just hate that a beloved jason kidd who won a ship here, knows basketball better than anyone, put Cooper in a position to be successful (rookie record 50+ game!), is beloved in Dallas, was replaced by a college coach…wah wah boo…
