I don’t think Bruce will really have to outplay Reed to take over his minutes.. Ime really doesn’t rock with Reed as it is and Bruce seems like an Ime type of guy through and through. 😊

I think Stone struck GOLD with Thornton, Copeland, & Cuff. Will IME play them, is another (?). Since Stone refuses to use any of his 1st rd pks in trades (which he has 8-9 1st between now and 2033), "SUGGEST" they plan on selecting players with both PHX/NETS 2027 pks. And if IME has another first round exit, then he's a GONER… I SEE A SOFT REBUILD SECRETLY HAPPENING.

If Udoka comes back with this same coaching staff….then I'll kno for sure that this organization isn't serious about winning…..let alone winning a championship
I'm with you on Isaiah Crawford, I'm hopeful that he puts it together in summer league because I was way higher on him than other people coming out
Quadir Copeland gonna be a problem. If he keeps developing his jumpers, oh my goodness, he’s gonna be like a legit frp.
I think Bruce Thornton will have a role that's holds more weight than a 3rd string PG. The fact the Rockets traded up to get him at 31, while not being the "obvious" choice, indicates that there was high level scouting. His player profile has Ime Udoka written all over it. Depending on VanVleet's health and Thornton's summer league and pre-season performances, he could very well place himself as backup PG behind Marcus Smart. In any case, I'm sure this is a heads up for Reed Sheppard.
