Are we keeping Walker and Shepard ?
I would be shocked if Peter doesn’t get a 2way. He’s the only one who can consistently shoot. Slawson does a lot of great thing but he can’t shoot. In the nba slawson won’t be getting easy driving lanes all day, your going to have to be a good shooter
I’ve been reviewing many of the eastern conference moves and rosters and I think the Pacers have the deepest roster in the conference (12 playable playoff players or proven playoff players) Haliburton, Siakam, Zubac, Nembhard, Nesmith, Toppin, McConnell, Oubre, Huff, Walker, Sheppard, Furphy. lots of scoring, playmaking, defense, shooting, and athleticism. Zubac adds a different dimension, no more 5 out spacing but just because you’re a traditional big doesn’t mean you don’t bring spacing via screen setting and top of the key passing, he’ll also fix our rebounding and interior defense and give us a ton of 2nd chances, I know most people are down on Walker because of how high he was picked but in a lesser role he’ll look like a really good do-it-all forward, especially now that he won’t be playing out of position, and Furphy was elite in small ball lineups playing the 5 last year, NET ratings were skyrocketed when he was out there next to Siakam, Nembhard, Nesmith, and Walker.
Why is Toppin not on the list of players that should be moved…. Toppin's numbers is identical to Nance Jr.
