Mavericks Rumors On Cooper Flagg, Kyrie Irving, Tarik Biberovic & Luka Doncic

1. What up coop do u think trading kyrie for some picks to a contender a good move yes we would like to see him play with Flagg but we don’t own our first round pick to 2031

2. The Luka glazing, I've been a MFFL before Cuban, Luka's not even in my top 5 favorite Mavs. Sorry not sorry. Glorified J. Harden.

3. I rather lose with Luka than win with anyone else. It has been really fun the last year watching the Lakers and it is going to be even more fun now that the team belongs to Luka. This says a lot because I grew up a Celtics fan in the 80s and here I am rooting for the Lakers. It is surreal. Luka brought me back to basketball. In fact, my elderly father, who really isn't a basketball fan, never misses a Luka game. I know many many many other people like him.

4. As much as I love luka as well, I do agree that the slim chance of his return is there in 2028. else we shouldn't expect anything. Also with how good our cap space is and will be even by 2028. i think Luka's health x output would be way different then too.

5. Dallas will not get back to the finals. Cooper is not Luka. I like Cooper, but honestly, he has never really won anything and always played on stacked teams. A lot of these diehard "MFFL" are getting it twisted and slamming Luka Doncic just to cope. As a rookie, Luka had 8 triple doubles and multiple game winning shots. Cooper had none of those. In fact, he missed game winnign shots. Luka is on an historic pace as a player. He drops 30 point triple doubles as if it was nothing and people think this is just normal. It isnt normal. It is historic. Dallas has a lot of holes too. You have 1 center. That is it. Lively is not coming back. He can't even run. Then, his production declined greatly without Luka in the first place. Dallas has a punchers chance at making it back to the Western Conference Finals in five years. I think bringing over the Euro players is absolutely smart. Euro players are way more fundamentally sound than American players and that will accelerate Dallas contending again. As for winning a Finals? I guess it could happen, but I doubt it. Then, sooner, rather than later, you are going to actually have to pay Cooper a huge salary and that will limit who you can get. What Masai is doing is actually pretty smart. I am just not sure it will work out because the entire West is getting bigger and better. Utah for instance didnt suck last year. They were just for real tanking. Now, their team is stacked and getting better. Kessler will be a huge loss for them though. He is second only to Wemby in interior defense. It is going to be tough for Dallas.

6. I have a feeling if Kyrie comes back strong and Dallas is out of contention, then Masai will trade Kyrie like he did DeRozan. Right now, teams are just waiting to see Kyrie actually play. If good results occur with his play, then the offers will come in for him. I doubt they will trade him before the deadline. Mavericks fans have to remember, when Masai traded DeRozan, DeRozan was the best player on the team and loved just as much as Kyrie is now. Masai absolutely will trade him if the right offer comes in. Nothing against Irving, I like the guy. He is just 15 years older than Cooper.

7. I was devastated when we lost Luka and even with a Chip it won't change my mind about trading him, but if you were asking me to choose between Luka or Cooper I would start my team with Cooper. Luka is a Ferrari. High performance, but so many things can go wrong. All these things have to go perfect and you have to build around him perfectly for everything to work. Health, weight, complaining to refs and lack of defence are all issues with Luka.

   Cooper is a true alterain vehicle… Shooting, ball handeling, rebounds, energy and defence. Just an easy player to build around and can his adjust his game to compliment players around him… Much easier to build with him as a foundation piece.

8. So Dusty won the college championship…but…wasn't his team absolutely stacked?

9. I don’t think they win a playoff series this decade. The finals, er championship games, is a long way away.

11. I think they're winning a playoff series as soon as 27-28, capable of reaching the WCF by 28 and reaching the Finals by 29. OKC/SA are the only teams in the WC that are built to be a long term challenge. Everyone else has serious issues that could see them falling apart within the next 2 seasons. Flagg is going to explode over the next two seasons and Musai's FO has alot of good players/contracts/exceptions to work with to retool. It's going to come faster than what some are expecting.
