Isaiah Joe: “Oklahoma City Will Always Be Home”
Former Oklahoma City Thunder guard Isaiah Joe shared an emotional message about what his time in Oklahoma City has meant to him.
Joe reflected on joining the Thunder after the organization gave him a fresh opportunity to rebuild his NBA career. He said Oklahoma City quickly became home, allowing him to grow both on and off the court while playing in front of family and friends who were able to regularly attend games.
Joe also thanked the Thunder organization, the city and its fans for embracing him throughout his time in Oklahoma City. He said the relationships he built during his tenure with the franchise will stay with him forever.
Joe played an important role during one of the most successful stretches in franchise history, helping the Thunder develop into an NBA championship team while becoming one of the league’s most reliable three-point shooters.
