  5. Man those lob passes were nuts lmao 😂 he was just throwing the ball out there with precision and anyone that is closed to it is just there to slam it home. Imagine if he can be Hali 2.0, honestly his game reminds me more of Hali. Just that big guard that can process and has the patience like him. Good stuff right here man, can't believe he fell that hard into the draft. Most drafts experts really underappreciate euro league bigger guards

    It’s 16 min a game and shooting would be the most likely deal breaker for backup minutes.

  14. Sergio will be in the rotation by the end of camp. He's the only true point guard on the roster—6'6, press / ball pressure resistant, excellent in the PnR, and a natural table-setter. I don't see how the Mavs keep him off the floor when everyone else, including Cooper and Kyrie, is a play-finisher.

  16. I really RELALY love Sergio's game. I guess my question now about him is how does his finishing & middie game translate to the NBA. Yes, he's a really good pick n roll passer. And I have no doubt that Larry can get his own 3s. I also know he can dunk in transition & finish in transition. But I wanna see what his finishing & the mid-range counters against a set NBA defense.

    I think THAT is gonna define if he's gonna be an NBA starting PG or if he's just a really really nice off-guard. Right now, I'd say he's more of the off-guard. But Nick & Slightly have a point….this roster kinda NEEDS him to be a point-guard cause there's just like NO ONE behind Kyrie that we have any confidence in.

    Yes, we've got the Point Flagg stuff that they can do. But even Coop still has a ways to go before he's an elite floor general type of dude. And right now it's kinda Kyrie and no one else.

Like we really are watching a half hour analysis video about a summer league basketball game this really does have to be considered the trenches

  30. If Larry ends up as Ricky, I'll be super happy.
    Larry don't need be like Steph, or Luka, or Nash. He just need to be solid. If he can just like Rubio or Calderon, he'll help Mavs a lot.
