The Wizards selected the best player for our organization and situation, so I don’t have any regrets.
AJ, Caleb, and Darryn were all players that I wanted selected with the 1st pick at one point or another leading up to the Draft; Boozer was the dark horse pick if worse came to worst.

Why are we overreacting to Dummer league? Guys are playing with teammates they have played with for a week, getting fouled every two seconds, and getting double teamed the whole game. Guys like Wilson and Dubantsa always do well in summer league cause they can play bully ball. That won’t work as well in the actual nba. Peterson’s won’t be the best player on his team so he will get better shots and won’t have to always create for himself or his teammates his rookie year. It’s apples and oranges to compare summer league to the actual league.
ESPN sucks. I think in the end Boozer will have the longest and best career. Boozer just isn't flashy.
As a bulls fan I would’ve loved any of the top 4 guys and honestly the whole top 20 ish is looking good but I’m very happy we got lucky and got Caleb, he’s so good

Wilson sorta reminds me of Len Bias. Sorta. Bias was extremely good though. But I definitely see Bias in him. If Wilson plays this hard all the time? The sky is the limit for him. He has talent.
Peterson has the most talent of all these players. I am just not sure Peterson likes playing! It is either that or he is injured more severly and none of us know it. Take Kobe for instance. You had to drag Kobe off a court in practice let alone a game. With Peterson, you get the feeling he likes being load managed.
